And before you mention about providing feedback with the QR code at the bottom of the receipt. I did that and Gage responded with the following, “I’m Truly sorry to hear about your recent experience with us. It’s disappointing to know your order was delayed and incorrect. We appreciate your feedback and will work to improve our service. Any way we can make this right for you?”
This seemed a little to cookie cutter to me. That is a little to concerning. Because this tells me that it bad reviews are happening more than you should have. My question is now, how many other customers who have bad experience with PTerry’s don’t even respond. They Just walk away and say nothing. That should be more of a concern.
Unfortunately, we experienced an episode with a very angry gentleman, working the outside order taking on Friday night. After taking the order, I had asked for it to be repeated, but he didn’t hear me, and when he approached the vehicle I had asked for the order to be repeated since I wanted to make sure I said everything correctly because I wasn’t quite sure.
This employee did not appreciate what I was asking and seemed frustrated immediately with the question. I repeated what I asked and said I’m sorry, but I was trying to ask the person that I was talking to through the intercom and I think they didn’t hear me. He said immediately that was him And he would need to go back to the front now to get that order repeated. I said OK then go ahead because I want to make sure. Immediately he was angered and frustrated and ran off without taking my card. When I got out to give him my card, he yelled back at me that I wasn’t allowed in that area and I got back in my vehicle. When I pulled up to get my food, he became immediately became aggressive with a manager nearby and I told him to calm down, he then begin threatening to fight me and take me out of my vehicle. The manager on duty had to physically hold him back before he physically assaulted me in the vehicle. I stayed there and got my food eventually and then called the police. I will be filing charges for assault by threat and have a case number with the Austin Police Department. This young man threw obscenities and threats in front of children and vehicles waiting in line that was completely unacceptable in any place much less a fast food hamburger place that we once loved so much.
Unfortunately, P Terry’s has falling far from Grace and I don’t believe we will be coming there anymore and will share the story with aa many people possible.
In the meantime… The young man who lost his temper, so much that he wanted to fight a customer in line and pull him out of the vehicle, probably needs help that the court system may be able to provide.
