LOVED this place. The quality of every dish that came out was superb. Great example of Honduran food. The restaurant although fairly large was packed to the brim for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Our waiter was very sweet and took his time with us, we aren’t used to ordering Honduran food, so a lot of questions were asked.
I ordered the beef soup or sopa de res, they only had one serving and three of us ordered. So we let my mom take it. She loved it. I ordered the carne asada as my second choice and I wasn’t upset. The dish came with rice, a coleslaw salad, maduros (plantains), a slice of avocado, refried beans, a slice of white cheese, and two tortillas!! Talk about yummy leftovers. The steak had an amazing taste and was juicy.
I cannot wait to come back to try more dishes.

Ordered Baleadas to go and it took forever to make.
Took them home and opened up the baleadas and basically they just smeared the ingredients lightly on each baleada. Beans are the cheapest ingredient you can make and it barely had that. The hard cheese was super salty and the cured onion recipe changed and I’m not feeling it anymore. This is the last straw with me and this place. I use to visit here as often as I could to eat El Plato ceibeño and even that has gone to shit.

I used to come here often and happy to report the food hasn’t changed, we ordered carne asada and chicken tacos Hondureno. The taco was a bit more tortilla than the filling,and that’s about the only complaint, The portion has also changed but that’s reflective of the times I guess

Honduras menu is here!! One of the best honduran food experiences, delicious their menu has everything, appetizers are amazing their “plato catracho” is a sampler dish that has a little bit of exceptional food! We love this place it’s our comfort place to go, they also have honduran beer, deserts, pan dulce, and yes, staff is nice!!

This is my second time in this restaurant. Everything was okay until it was time to pay. I guess I was being ignorant and did not read the part in the menú book where it said that a 15% tip was included in the transaction. When the lady came in to ask me to pay, she didn’t gave me the tab, she just asked me if it was card or cash. I said card. Then she never hand me out the tab only the card reader machine to pay so I just tabbed my debit card. Then it asked me to provide a tip. Ignorantly , I didn’t know or didn’t realized the tip was already included in my total, so I included an 18%. I work in the legal field so I hate when people are not fair or try to take advantage. I called the restaurant after realizing that my total was not right, the guy that answered the phone said that I had the option to click on “no tip” , I said to him, how could I eat at a restaurant and give no tip? He never explained to me that, I probably doubled tipped. He said to talk to the manager, I talked to the manager and the manager had quite an attitude. She said the 15% tío policy is written on the menu and also on the tab the waitress “gave me” , I said she never provided me with such tab receipt. What took me out of my mind is the fact that she said , I would never paid for a tab if a physical receipt is not given to me prior to payment. I had already left town, having to drive 4 hours home, so I couldn’t go back to get a refund, since I was required to get back to the restaurant.
I’m never coming back, and hopefully this review helps other people in the future to be aware of what they could deal with.
Edit: It was only me and my husband eating. I went to check the pictures other people uploaded and you could read in small letters that a 15% tip will automatically be applied to your tab for parties of 3 and more. We were only 2. This people will trick you!!!
