I’ve visited this Mexican restaurant more than 10–15 times, and I still can’t believe I hadn’t written a review until now. With multiple branches around Overland Park, this place has become one of my go-to spots whenever I’m craving Mexican food. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, colorful atmosphere that instantly gives you that true Mexican feel. The décor, the music, and the overall vibe make it an easy place to relax and enjoy a good meal.
One thing I love about this chain is how well they capture the essence of authentic Mexican dining. The restaurant has a lively but comfortable ambiance, and you can genuinely feel the cultural touch in everything—from the artwork on the walls to the style of plating. Their salsa and hot sauce deserve a special mention too. The salsa has that perfect balance of freshness and kick; slightly spicy but incredibly flavorful. And their queso and nachos have been consistently great every time I’ve ordered them.
This visit, we tried a mix of our favorites and a few new items: chicken enchiladas, a veggie bowl, fish tacos, and veg tacos. Every dish had its own standout flavor. The chicken enchiladas were tender and perfectly seasoned. The veggie bowl had great freshness and generous portions. The fish tacos were crisp, flavorful, and light, while the veg tacos were packed with flavor without feeling heavy. Over all these visits, I’ve tried almost everything on the menu (except the beef items), and the quality has remained consistently solid.
Overall, this is easily one of the best Mexican chains around Overland Park. Great food, authentic vibe, and a consistently satisfying experience every time I visit. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a reliable Mexican spot that truly brings the flavor.

We’ve been to this location many times. But this time the were on their A game. Service was excellent and the food was nice and hot and the flavor fantastic. The only negative is if you sit in a booth by the kitchen across from the bar, the spacing is super tight. You will have very little room to breathe, but the good news is you won’t over eat!! Lol

We had a party of 10, including 3 children on a Sunday. They don’t take reservations, but we waited until 1 to arrive and called ahead. It took them about 30 minutes to seat us, but once we were seated, our server was spectacular! He was attentive without being pushy, he had our orders out quickly and was friendly without being intrusive.
The only reason for the 4 stars on atmosphere is that it’s loud and when you come in from the entrance off 119th, it’s not clear where to go to check in and wait.
If you like Mexican, I encourage you to try Mi Ranchito.

This place has the BEST masa I’ve ever had in my life.
I’ve had some good cornbread but nothing compares to this. It has hints of sugar and honey. Absolutely delicious.
We started with chips and salsa. The chips were light and tasty.
For drinks, we had horchata. It was as chilled and tasty. My kids loved it.
For dinner, I had grilled chicken street tacos. The chicken texture was perfect and the corn soft shells hit the spot.
My kids devoured the cheese quesadillas.
This place has an extensive dessert menu. We chose the flan and they cooked it perfectly.
The authentic Mexican decor enhanced the experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The tables were very clean.
We will return here in the near future.

The food here is great. It is a “regular” in my family’s monthly rotation. Our server, Casey, (not sure of spelling) went above and beyond to serve and help us! When I left my credit card at the table, he literally ran across the parking lot to catch up to our car and give it back. That was so kind and very much appreciated!
