Atmosphere is incredible, great choice in music, place has perfect vibes for a Friday (when I visited).
First time being to a CJ’s and this could NOT have gone better. Our waiter, Andy, was great, always at the table when we needed him (if I could ‘rate’ him: 10/10) food is EXCELLENT; ordered the CJ’s Southern burger and was practically licking the platter it came on. Fries were _perfect_, burger was _perfect_.
I WILL be reccommending this establishment and the burgers to EVERYONE who will listen!!!! Such a shame I live almost an hour away, otherwise I’d practically be here all day!!

Unexpected excellence! Came in at 4pm on Friday, our efficient and friendly waiter Andy was taking care of at least 10 other tables-but made each customer feel well taken care of. The clam chowder soup was excellent, like from a fine seafood restaurant! The Cobb salad was presented beautifully, and I took about half of it home! We live 1 hour away-but will make plans to return!

I’ve been here tens of times over the last three years. This place honestly has the most consistent and good food around. Across about a dozen different (and varied) food items, I’ve not had a bad meal yet.
They also have a rotating dessert and specials menu and the chefs here always execute it well.
The portion sizes are on the larger side which is great for me as I always have leftovers.
The staff is kind and attentive too!

Updating this review 5 years later, still a great place to stop for good food and drink! We’re never disappointed. This time around my wife and I both had burgers, she got the patty melt and I got CJs Southern. Both were delicious, though the seasoned fries were a little over seasoned, they were still good! Served with a pickle spear too! Service was good, atmosphere was what one would expect from a packed sports bar, but I don’t think we’ve ever had to wait to get in even when they looked overly busy from the parking lot. We used to frequent here more often and I think it’ll be on our short list again!

Never been here but we had a birthday party there. We had about 15 people and 1 server..Hannah..she did a great job. The food was overall very good. I got fish and chips. Fries were tasty..fish was ..ok..little greasy..coleslaw came with it but kids meal size..small. Prices were fair. Will be back and try again

Cy Mahoney’s is one of my favorite go-to bars in Rochester Hills. Great food, solid drinks, and a laid-back, friendly vibe. Felicia, the manager, is awesome, and Andy the bartender is great — they really make the place welcoming and keep you coming back.

I had a cheeseburger with fried egg. The patty had a really strange taste, like it was undercooked, even though it wasn’t. The server was friendly and did a good job. Music was good, but loud.

I stopped in at CJ Mahoney’s recently and left disappointed. The bartenders spent most of their time chatting with regulars, and Jenna in particular wasn’t very attentive to me. I waited far too long for basic service and felt pretty neglected overall.
