Our family had breakfast at Crow’s Nest Saturday morning. We’ve heard this was a great breakfast spot and we can confirm that is true.

Food: Excellent…had a variety of items such as a scramble, French toast, breakfast burrito, and breakfast biscuit sandwiches. It was all excellent and in the top ten for me for breakfast places.

Atmosphere: Is nice, not very large but you can grab a coffee downstairs while you wait.

Service: Very friendly service and attentive.

We’ve been here many times and the vibe is always great. The food is also delicious and love that we can purchase fresh baked bread! Highly recommended

Crow’s Nest is now my favorite breakfast place in town. I got the Farmer’s Skillet. It was big enough that I took half to go and ate it for breakfast the next day as well! Highly recommend!

One of the best place to eat in this area. Key thing is they bake their own bread and cakes. Make a world of difference on something simple. They also don’t skim on
ingredients in your main entree, worth everything that u will pay for.
Service is good too. Water and coffee constantly getting refill.

Hubby and I just like to get out of town and try new places, drove 1.5 hours north to this gem in Kalamazoo. Food was good with different combinations I never would have thought of. Staff was always smiling with positive attitudes.. Will be going back again.

Great spot for Breakfast…hostess sees you at the stairs to get your place in line…no resos….the Breakfast was extremely tasteful and they out their own unique touch on everything.

I highly recommend

I absolutely love this place- you can immediately notice that everything is made from scratch and if it isn’t well then I have been fooled. Not only is everything so good, its so affordable! I have paid more for food this good!
It is crowded, and you will have to wait, but it’s worth it.And everyone is friendly.

Crow’s Nest is always exceptional. I’ve always had great experiences here and it’s truly my favorite restaurant in Kalamazoo. I went with my dad today and we ended up having a lovely conversation with the owner. We also had Sara as our server who is always excellent as well. The food is so good. All of their Eggs Benedict variations are amazing, though I will say that when they have the Cuban Benedict on special that probably takes the cake. There is usually a wait, but I assure you it’s absolutely worth the wait. (And is frankly the only place I will typically wait for). I cannot say enough good things about their food.

Way too loud, too many tables for such a small space. Eggs were over cooked, potatoes were SO salty and gravy was like paste and too salty. Ate as much as I could tolerate and left. Server was very attentive but good service didn’t make up for an awful, overpriced meal. Gravy literally stayed in the bowl turned upside down as you will notice in the photo. Do not recommend.

This breakfast joint was wonderful. It’s a hole in the wall and definitely worth your time. Their selection is wide and delicious. They have a ton of unique items and in-hour coffee brews and fresh bread. All dishes are about $15/person and massive portions. We took most of our food home and we are dedicated foodies. Make the stop!
