Had lunch for the first time…. Good job on the sub and my wife was still able to get breakfast at this time… great job! Our waitress was so sweet and efficient.

They just renovated the place and it’s very nice. Food great and excellent prices. The biscuits are heavenly and eggs perfectly prepared. The staff are also very friendly.

The first impression does always count! Atmosphere was awesome. Our server, Lindsey was great, so friendly and helpful as we told her it was our first time there! Food was great. I don’t eat pancakes but I tasted this one and it was delicious…the size of the plate!!!!

Pleasantly surprised. I will be honest and say I went in with low expectations. It wasn’t on any list of recommendations we had received from friends and locals but it had scallops on the menu and our daughter wanted scallops, we said she could pick the place, so that’s where we went. Arrived and saw the outside and inside and still wasn’t sure how it would be. Definitely had an old school seafood house vibe which could be good or bad.
Turned out to be great. Definitely the old school seafood type place (lots of fried options). Solid hush puppies to start. Daughter got the Shrimp Alfredo and they let her add scallops for a more than reasonable upcharge. She loved it. I had a couple of her shrimp and they were very good. Wife got a fried shrimp platter and liked it.
Against my better judgment I ordered a combo with a 12 Oz ribeye and fried shrimp w/ fries and sautéed spinach.
I am pretty particular about my s medium rare steaks so I figured I would be disappointed.
I have to say the steak was very good, cooked as ordered, and also seemed bigger than 12 Oz. The fried shrimp were good. Fries were good. Sautéed spinach was very good.
I cleaned my plate and enjoyed it all.
We will gladly go back when in town.
Also, our server was great. She was very nice and attentive.

Our server Brandy was absolutely perfect! She was super nice and friendly! Food was amazing and greatly priced. Chicken alfredo was so good and the chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Seafood was also very good, cooked perfect. We are from out of town so this was a very nice spot to eat at and we will definitely be making a trip back!

Our waiter, Taylor, was very attentive. He was friendly, personable, and always kept our drinks filled. The food was good. Crab cakes were incredible. The Caribbean chicken was amazing. The sauce was very flavorful. My only complaint was the wild rice. The chicken would be much better with white rice so you could use the sauce from the chicken on the rice. The wild rice was bland and didn’t pair well with the entree choices. The steak and flounder were both good. The fried seafood was not greasy and it was tasty.

It’s nice to see the place open again!! They did a great job with the renovation. Went in at 2pm and it was hopping. Got a booth no problem and was served with drinks and hush puppies in minutes of seating, a very good waitress staff. The lunch portion of Salmon was about 5 to 6 ounces and the to sides were plenty. The only stickler was the water had an off taste. Would recommend R/O for the future. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, good atmosphere, prompt service, polite staff. We’ll be back for sure.

Food is excellent. Never had a complaint but my last visit after the Renovation, my party of 5 had a basket of hush puppies as did the table of 2 next to me same size. We asked for more and were told we needed to pay for a second basket. I have never had to do that before after dozens of time going there. I haven’t been back with my group of friends and family since. It’s the little things that make a place great or bad. Consistently and accommodating the amount of people at the table is key. 2 is not the same as 5

We drove from downtown Wilmington to get the fish dinners. We were seated quickly and the waitress was fantastic. We had seafood and the hush puppies were as good as everyone claimed. The servings were huge and also desert was yummy. 5 stars

I didn’t eat but everything I saw on other people’s plates looked excellent. The service is excellent. The kitchen is fast. The service staff is attentive. The restaurant is clean. There’s plenty of parking. Great place! I’ll be back!
