Excellent ‘mom and pop’ authentic Fajitas. Come here to avoid the your normal ‘on the border’ bland corporate chain mexican food.
The restaurant set up is a little different, so don’t be surprised or turned off. You effectively enter through a bodega, order in the back, and enjoy your meal in the very large dining room (that comes with many very authentic Mexican trappings).
Portions are big, cost is not a lot, and flavor is strong. Recommend trying their hot sauce too (again, authentic as opposed to ‘Texas Pete’s or tobacco)

Lovely place with very friendly staff. Great authentic food and the guac was to die for.
Reasonably priced and again very authentic food. Beware, you will need to take a nice afternoon nap after eating their generous portions!

Great food, the best Mexican dishes I have had in many years. The meal started with fresh chips with beans that we couldn’t stop munching. I ordered molcajete mixto (not a regular menu item) and it was fantastic! My daughter got a lengua burrito and she said it was terrific. We also had agua fresca and finished off the meal with tres leches. Everything was top notch. Prices were reasonable and the portion size was just right for a big eater like me. We will be going back soon and bringing friends with us. Highly recommended. They also have a store attached that carried a lot of hard to find Mexican style meal ingredients and other goods. The shop/restaurant combo reminded me of Cracker Barrel. The decor is festive!

I’m not sure where to begin. We stumbled upon this because our pho restaurant was closed. We were so glad it was. We walked into a Spanish grocery store and said Um ok . Then there was a break in the wall that lead to a nice decorated restaurant with a Spanish flair motif . We started with homemade chips and homemade guacamole. That was great . Then we ordered our meal . The server.. she was so nice and friendly . As we waited for the food we were looking at all the pictures and other authentic items hung throughout the restaurant.. pretty cool stuff . Then the food came. The shrimp enchilada was crazy good. We also ordered chicken tostados and a shrimp burrito. This was a total Suprise. The food was ridiculously good. When I say that the good food hides in the hole in the wall restaurants I’m not kidding . This is the best Mexican I’ve had anywhere ..can’t wait to come back and try more food

They didn’t inform that complimentary chips are going to ve charged. Plus seating was not clean. Spoon and forks looked good but haven’t been used, maybe that’s the reason no one eats in at this place. Also, the cashier made us feel belittled and treated us in appropriately and demanded us to pay by cash only.

Everytime I come here it’s always GREAT food and service, the people that run the restaurant are so so nice and welcoming. I’ve lived in Lansdale, North Wales, Telford, Souderton, and now Hatfield …this legit hands-down is the best Mexican restaurant extremely authentic for this area, i’ve gone to multiple Mexican restaurants in those areas and they are good but not as good as San Antonio’s!! The Menudo taste like I’m back in El Paso, TX !!! I have been searching for that authentic Menudo taste and finally found it and Enchiladas are delicious!!

I called in 2 orders of empanadas. A friend picked them up before work. They were hot, fresh, and crisp. However they got the order wrong, it was supposed to be 2 chicken/1 beef and all beef for the second order. All 6 were beef. I was very disappointed that they had olives in the filling. I have never seen that nor was it on the menu. Probably won’t go back

Most of the food wasn’t too bad but… DON’T ORDER SALSA!!! We ordered salsa to go with our chips and legit got served a bowl of ketchup with some onions and Cilantro in it! It was nasty. Had to send it back! (It really was just ketchup!) How does a Mexican restaurant not know how it make salsa!?
