I’ve been a loyal customer at Pantano’s for quite a while now, and I’ve always loved their bagels. They used to be fresh, soft on the inside . However, over the past few days, I’ve noticed a big change, and unfortunately not for the better. The bagels haven’t been the same. they’ve had a very chewy, hard texture that makes them difficult to enjoy. Instead of that fresh, just baked feel, they seem dense and almost stale. It’s really disappointing because consistency is one of the main reasons I kept coming back. I’m not sure if there has been a change but the quality has definitely declined recently. I truly hope this is just a temporary issue because I’ve always enjoyed coming here and would hate to see standards slip.
I wanted to share this feedback in hopes that it helps, because I’d love to see the bagels return to the quality they once had.

From the second that I arrived at the establishment I could tell the food would be good. The place was maintained very well, and the workers were very polite and helpful. The bagels bring me back memories to my old days in Brooklyn. The coffee was fresh and I would definitely recommend eating at this establishment!!! A++++

Pantanos!! This is the spot for bagels in the nearby area. Their options include bagel varieties with Oreo, Doritos, french toast, pizza and bacon egg and cheese. And yeahs just the bagel and doesn’t include what you can put inside!
The pictures show you they have everything you need- pastries, breads, spreads and salads. The line is always line but don’t let it deter you! They work with Too Good To Go to help reduce food waste. And when my brother ordered bagels to bring back to his military base, they gave him 36 bagels and made him pay for 12.
This is a good local spot that deserves your business!

Every time I come into the store, Izzy makes the experience better. He’s always friendly, upbeat, and welcoming, no matter how busy it gets. He remembers customers, keeps things moving smoothly, and clearly takes pride in his work. It’s rare to find someone who brings such consistently positive energy and great customer service. Izzy is a big reason I keep coming back…truly an asset to the store.

I got there on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait for a bit because the guy in front of me seemed to not know what he wanted to order. When the next cashier was done with her customer, then she took my order. I told her that I have the “too good to go” order and she promptly gave me many bagels. I brought them to my church, cut them and wrapped them up. They sell flavored bagels that aren’t at other shops like pizza, oreo and doritos. I purchased scallion cream cheese and we all enjoyed the bagels. The rest we put in the freezer for later use.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this deli for years, and the service never disappoints. Everyone is wonderful, but IZZY truly stands out. He’s always at the front, greets you with a smile, remembers exactly what you like, and makes every visit enjoyable. This is the best deli around.
