I had a fantastic meal at Nom Nom Bistro and can’t say enough about the beef brisket stew, it was incredibly tender and flavorful. The wontons were also a highlight, perfectly fresh and plump. Everything tasted authentic and high-quality, right down to the delicious double skin milk custard for dessert.

I love Nom Nom Bistro
For me, the foods give off that homey feeling
My favorite was their pork meatball porridge, but I tried their wonton noodle and the beef brisket rice as well. I would say they offer value for money.

Loved the chive dumpling — very crispy! The black sesame paste and double skim milk were great as well, definitely must-try items.

I ordered the Shrimp Wonton Soup (8 pcs) for $16.95 and added Beef Brisket for, but the brisket came with only three small pieces, which felt very overpriced. The taste was just average nothing memorable or worth the price The waiter said there were only three pieces

The food is very tasty. Especially the Chives Pan Fried Dumpling! The best I ever have in the Bay Area. Dessert is also great. Affordable pricing with great quality food. The staff is nice and friendly. Will definitely come more often.

This is the best wonton noodle soup I’ve ever had in the Bay Area! The noodles are perfectly chewy, the beef brisket is tender, and the tendon is delightfully springy. The owner told me the wontons, beef brisket, and other ingredients are all handmade fresh every morning, and the price is reasonable too!

Super high quality and authentic food. I haven’t found another modern Cantonese bistro that’s this good. My boyfriend growing up in Guangzhou said the food reminds him of his childhood. It’s a group of young restaurant owners trying to make a difference here!! I can feel the love and passion they put into their food and restaurant. Will definitely come back again!

FYI – they just opened 3 days ago. So please be patient and just enjoy the food.

Unfortunately, this place was a disappointment. The signature wonton noodle is not even close to the authentic ones. The wontons are just pork meatballs with similar filling as the shu mai you would get from a dim sum restaurant. The noodle wasn’t soggy but it’s not even close to the authentic taste. The noodle soup here probably meets the average/slightly below average wonton noodle soup standard in the Bay Area. I really wish we can have better wonton noodle soup in the Bag Area The beef brisket curry rice was also just ok because the curry was kinda bland and the tendon and beef brisket were not tender enough.

Service was nice (albeit staff being very junior/inexperienced) but all the food including the black sesame paste was below average. Will not return for sure.

I am from Hong Kong so I know what Guangdong style is like and this place is definitely not meeting the average standard.
