Food was delicious, portions are big and price is good. Southwest bowl was really good. We were 5 people and everyone was happy with their dish. Service was nice, coffee was good. Big parking lot. It gets busy around 1130.

Shout out to the Metro Diner for hosting a fun car night yesterday. A great atmosphere and wild assortment of cars from a 1957 Porsche Speedster, 40’s mob car complete with Tommy Gun, and of course the 60 and 70s muscle cars you wished you’d held on to. Respect to the incredibly creative and talented owners of the rat rods. Even a couple of old BMW Airhead motorcycles joined a fun group of car enthusiasts.
And Metro Diner’s super friendly team was obviously inspired by the car hop vibes. The food of course was great, just as the other positive reviews describe. Fried chicken dinner is a must-have! And the table next to us recommended the meat loaf next time.

Had breakfast at Metro Diner today- yummy! The Bissell Breakfast is such a treat- best pancakes I’ve had in a while! Amy is very sweet and attentive server – super impressed with the cook- he is super fast! Great value and great food! You will love it.

We moved to venice fla in April of 2025. We have been looking for a nice place to have breakfast. On 1-18-26 we looked again on line and seen the venice Metro Diner had good reviews and thought we would check it out. When we pulled into the parking lot it was pretty full which was a good sign for good food. On our way past the front of the restaurant one of the employees said welcome to the metro diner. We replied thank you. We entered the restaurant and were quickly greeted by a employee that quickly seated us. Not long after being seated our server Amy P. Took our order. In a very short amount of time our food was brought to us. The food quality was excellent, the food quantity was fantastic. Most of all the coffee was really great. We wanted to put out a review to any one wanting to have a real nice breakfast at a affordable price. The restaurant appearance and cleanliness was very good and most of all the employees really deserve a real applause for their service and how they treat their customers. We came here on the right day and time during snowbird season. The service was perfect. Pleasant, fast, and friendly. Our order came out quick. We ordered the Metro club sandwich on rye bread and the Breakfast Burger. The fries came out fresh and hot. Tasty! The burger was cooked to order with the egg on point. This metro club sandwich was huge. Definitely, recommend.

Ive never been compelled to write a good review abt a restaurant but Metro deserves it. They must have gotten some new cooks because everything we got was actually the best I’ve ever had. My husband had chicken and waffles and i had the eggs Benedict. The chicken is the best ive had in my life .

Michelle B is wonderful! Always cheerful and really connects with her customers. She introduced me to croissant french toast last year, and it became my all time favorite breakfast. I come here regularly on my frequent trips to Venice.
