If you ever want a McDonald’s experience that feels next level, the McDonald’s on Jericho Turnpike is THE place to go. This location isn’t just a fast-food stop — it literally looks like a mansion, and stepping inside feels like you’ve unlocked a secret VIP version of McDonald’s.

From the moment you walk in, the place is incredibly clean, spacious, and welcoming. The décor is classy, the dining area is comfortable, and everything feels way more upscale than your typical McDonald’s. The staff here is always friendly, fast, and genuinely on top of their service. Our food was fresh, hot, and perfectly made — you can tell the team takes pride in this location.

I know what you’re thinking, McDonald’s? Has Hell frozen over? I thought you don’t do fast food! I do lean more towards independently owned restaurants with their own character and flair but you can’t get any more character and flair than a McDonald’s modeled off a Pre World War 1 mansion. Well the franchise more or less claimed the once abandoned and dilapidated mansion but I digress.

Coming here for the aestethic alone is worth it. The upper floor is inaccessible but the first floor is enough to house a moderately sized McDonald’s. It may look out of the ordinary for a McDonald’s spot but that’s the point of thus location, it’s supposed to stand out.

This place also has a unique service that I don’t think I’ve ever had from any other McDonald’s. You can have your order served to you if you’re planning on eating in. Something unique from Mickey D’s other than Shake Shack and Chick Fil-A having food served to you as the norm.

As for the food, it’s standard fare. Mine was pretty good but nothing that you wouldn’t expect from McDonald’s. Maybe the fact that the food was orderly could be a plus, lol. The Big Mac isn’t my favorite but they had the value meal of it for $8 so I had that along with the Gold McChicken sandwich which was pretty good. Everything was a solid $17 well spent.

The 19th-century Georgian-style mansion is a historical landmark in New Hyde Park. When I visited in the morning, there was no music playing, and the sound of heavy traffic was clearly audible in the dining room.

Best McDonalds ever. Clean bathroom, quick service, and Edward was the best server. Thank you for making my Thanksgiving and working so hard even on a holiday.

What a fantastic Mcmansion
The interior is absolutely beautiful and the house dates back to the 1700’s when it was first owned by the Denton Family and later converted into this Mcdonalds’. The service was awesome and the workers were very nice and helpful and even the bathroom was well maintained. Very nice place to just relax and eat on a warm day.

It’s a typical McDonald’s but built inside a house. Kids thought it was cool. I’m not a fan of the new ordering system and it took a bit to get the food but it tasted as it should. If we are in the area I’m sure the kids would love to return.

The female employee working the take out side was rude. She was eating as she hands me my double cheeseburger 4 piece nugget and small fry I waited 30 mins for. Then they didn’t give me the dipping sauce for the nuggets and no straw for the drink. When I asked I get an attitude. I don’t like people talking with a mouth full of food while handling food for customers. The place is beautiful but I’m not waiting 30 mins for a burger to go. Never again

Not your typical McDonald’s! Instead of the usual modern design, it’s housed in a stunning historic-style building full of charm. The beautiful architecture and classic white exterior make it worth visiting even if you’ve had McDonald’s a hundred times before. Same food as any other location, but the setting makes the whole experience unique and memorable.

Aside from operating inside a historic building and have nicer interior decors, it is still a McDonald’s. 2nd floor was closed off when we were here on a Sunday. Ordered food via the electronic kiosk, which is the preferred method on site. You will be taking a numbered stand and leave on your table and food will be delivered to your table. There are no ketchup dispenser but you will find the paper sauce cups by the soft drink machine. Took me a while to get some packets of ketchup, because there is no one working at the counter. Side note: they need to fix one of the pendna light, it literally hanging by the wires.

If you’re going to eat McDonald’s, you might as well do it in a mansion.

I’ve driven by the McDonald’s Mansion a few times over the years and finally decided to stop by and eat in. It’s an old converted house, complete with glass rotunda, bay windows, and an upstairs balcony area that’s unfortunately roped off and just for parties. Theres a framed photo of the original estate, along with a plaque with some of the details. There’s a ton of wood and columns with plenty of seating all around. There’s a 24 hour drive through, but if you’re coming here, I say eat inside. The food is standard with no specials or anything, and the service is too.

Overall it’s a really unique location and absolutely worth a visit.
