This place is a cool spot to try out. The sushi was okay but it does take a little while to find something that you’d like to eat. They also have great views of their decor and how everything is set up. Enjoyed the experience of the place. Overall my friends and I (3 of us total) spent about $60 total with tip which isn’t too bad – although we did try to keep our plate colors on the lower price range so it can definitely depend on what you eat.

Super Plus Rotary Sushi Bar offers a unique and delightful dining experience that’s perfect for sushi lovers. The atmosphere is fun and modern, with the rotating sushi conveyor belt adding an interactive and exciting element to the meal. The food itself was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From classic rolls to creative new combinations, everything we tried exceeded expectations.
Be prepared for a bit of a wait, though. We had to wait up to 40 minutes for a table, but it was totally worth it once we were seated. A nice touch: if your wait time exceeds 45 minutes, they offer a 15% discount on your bill, which is a thoughtful gesture that shows they value their customers’ time.
One downside was the bathroom situation. They were small and, unfortunately, not very clean during our visit. It was the only blemish in an otherwise great experience, and hopefully it’s something they’ll address moving forward.
Overall, we had a lovely time at Super Plus. The food and atmosphere more than made up for the wait, and we’ll definitely be back soon. Just come hungry, and maybe use the restroom before you arrive!

They have creative sushi rolls that we enjoy whenever we go. If you don’t eat sushi (aka me), you might not be left with many options. Their ramen left much to be desired and the noodles were an odd texture, but I know that’s not what they’re trying to sell you. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience they provided and hope that they will continue to be creative. A + desserts and drinks, they are cute and also creative, pandering to the Chicago crowd in the area as well.

I was enjoying my lunch out myself. First, tea cup had a weird chemical? fungus? smell so I asked for paper cup. Sever did not mention anything about it just laughed as he undertood as I said the cup is too small then realized it smells. Then, my food was good until I found this tiny hair wrapped with the roll I told the server. He said “uh- “ then took the dish. No one said anything about it. Then when I was trying to pay and other server asked “how was everything?” I told what happened then other server took it away. Then she said “ that’s good!” (????) then I paid. I am confused. Nothing making sense in this restaurant. Too many people make fake cases of this here, is it why? I don’t want to come back. Huge disappointment. At least I liked food. FYI. music is super loud here. They validate the public parking.

Review for Sushi Plus Rotary Sushi Bar – 3/5 Stars
Sushi Plus Rotary Sushi Bar in Chinatown has a fun atmosphere, especially for families. The conveyor belt and the little train that delivers food were a hit with the kids, making it a unique and enjoyable experience. The novelty of watching the food zoom around and being delivered via train certainly adds to the fun factor of the place.
However, when it comes to the food, it was just okay. The sushi was underwhelming, and honestly, the shuii was disappointing. While the variety of dishes offered on the conveyor belt was impressive, the overall taste didn’t really stand out. It felt like a standard sushi experience without much excitement on the flavor front.
The ambiance is casual and lively, which definitely adds to the enjoyment, but the food didn’t quite live up to the hype. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for something entertaining for kids or a casual dining experience, but if you’re a sushi aficionado looking for top-notch flavors, this might not be the place.
Overall, I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars. It’s fun for families, but the food leaves a lot to be desired.

I walked in during lunch hour, and surprisingly the wait time was only 15min. I do recommend they do a “Text-you-“ wait system because everyone was just standing there waiting for their name.
The food was superb, salmon tasted fresh. My favorite was the salmon, tuna and the steak one!
(The pudding tasted nasty don’t listen to social media)
Would be coming back :))!

Pretty solid hotspots place. Decent price for all you can eat, and it comes with a smoothie which is a nice touch. Good selection of meats of good quality vegetables served on the conveyor, and a good sauce station. The downfall of the restaurant is really the soup base which is quite weak. Not a strong flavor and really no spicy options either. I would go back.

How can you go wrong with rotary sushi? Oh, I know. Arrive absolutely hungry, grabbing everything you see as it goes by, then realizing you have 30-40$ in food sitting in front of you before you take your first bite! . You’ll need to get a grip, settle down & pace yourself as this experience takes you down through yum-yumville & points beyond. There’s even a bullet train that brings you menu items, right to your table! Freshly made with an information card & photo of the dish coming by. All dishes are color coded for cost,(price) which is listed right there on the wall, beneath the conveyor. Coconut Psyduck pudding was fantastic. I also enjoyed a jello soda. That was trippy, & delicious! Came here with a group of 4 & we all left full!! Highly recommend the Sushi Plus Rotary & Bar, Chinatown, Chicago.

I’ve never been to a sushi rotary and this blew my mind. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. All of the food was extremely fresh. There were tons of options and they rotated quickly! 10/10 recommend. My favorite dishes are in my photos! You might have to wait for a bit but it’s always worth it. You can walk around the square and they will call you when your table is ready!
