Only 1 other couple including us in the Restaurant but seemed slow.
The server said the mashed potatoes were real but they weren’t, also the liver and onions was ok. My wife had pinto soup and there was no flavor to the soup also the meatloaf sandwich was cold and dry. It was recommended by the hotel we stayed at. But we weren’t impressed.hope they were honest when I found a wallet left near the register they found who it belonged to.

I would like to preface this review by saying our server was great. Her service was good and did try to fix our issues to the best of her ability. For the food, we were served expired coleslaw, our whole table agreed it tasted sour and our server confirmed they had received other complaints on it. The Ruben was served with roast beef instead of corn beef, the French toast was soggy and gross, and the biscuits were dry. There were also several ants and a gnat crawling along and in our plates(which our server said other guests have also complained about before).

Absolutely recommend coming here if you like good down home food at a reasonable price. The food isn’t fancy, you won’t find lattes or protein bowls etc on the menu. You will find hearty biscuits and gravy, omelettes, French toast, corn cakes, and more that are absolutely delicious. The staff are lovely, and very friendly.

My take out order over the phone somehow never processed over the phone, only realized when I got there… was told that they had too much going on… lame excuse by the way for a restaurant. Was told to then wait. So I waited… and waited…. and waited… and then…
Jesus already returned, and I’m already in heaven drinking wine, and they still on Earth making my french toast and patty melt. Recommend Laila A. my server get her hours reduced exponentially.
Don’t come to this location unless unless you expect to fast for 24 hours… and that’s fast as in not expecting to eat, not so much as the quality of their service.
Once again Laila A. is her name. Don’t name your child Laila A. else she will be slow. Don’t go to any restaurant for this matter if your server’s name is Laila A. because your order will either be messed up, or you will never get it for eternity.
Hope that TJ location in Stringtown, OH files for bankruptcy due to poor customer service. It should be named BJ because their customer service blows. Chat GPT has better customer service.

I expected to at least get a sympathetic gesture such as free food for waiting several centuries for my order. Instead I get a refund receipt, and left to kick rocks. Low prices, lower customer service should be Tee Jaye’s motto. Donald Trump approves this message.

I went to this restaurant tonight because a friend of mine requested this place for their birthday dinner. Another friend joined us. Let me just say, the food was NOT good. I got pancakes, eggs, bacon and hash browns. The pancakes were edible, but the rest not so much. I wondered why there were only a few cars in the parking lot. Now I know.

Great coffee! Polite waitress! The food was ok, eggs had slime in them, toast had way too much butter on it and the bacon was extremely salty (couldn’t finish). French toast was amazing though!! I believe for the money it’s a good deal.

Gravy is very thick and no flavor other than flour. I would recommend anything without it. Our waitress was new but anything we had an issue with was quick to fix and very polite. My order came out without the gravy that was supposed to be on it so I blame the kitchen that should have known better. Biscuits again very floury and dry eggs were good and the tenderloin with eggs inside was very good.

Happy Thanksgiving! My friend from India had his first genuine down home cooked Turkey Dinner today and you really impressed him! Loved seeing the energy and happiness with all the staff here! He has really appreciated the dressing, giblet gravy and Pumpkin pie! The sample of corn bread we added on let him understand country cooking! The Managers energy abd happiness was pervasive throughout the restaurant! Thank you all and you have a new international customer with my friend!

This wasn’t my first time at this location. It’s been a while, but I know to expect!? Great service Excellent food Comfortable and inviting I went with some coworkers and we all ordered the “Barnyard Buster” oh course; what else is there? They actually have a really nice full menu of home style comfort foods as well as incredible breakfast items and even desserts We got there as soon as they were opening, so this was going to be a great time/ experience. We sat and talked for a while, I kept looking at the table pop-up for Apple Cobbler w ice cream. It sounds amazing. Overall, the food was excellent. The “Barnyard Buster” If it’s your 1st time or having trouble deciding what to order, remember “BARNYARD BUSTER”
