The Bridge Café had been recommended to us by a family member so we decided to pop in today to see what they were all about and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is really really cozy and the staff were extremely friendly. The Italian Pesto sandwich was absolutely delicious and the croissant was super fresh and soft. They have the biggest macarons I’ve ever seen, and some of them even have a little extra special surprise in the middle that we were not expecting which was a really nice touch! They have a good selection of baked goods to choose from and the matcha latte was actually hand made by the barista the authentic Asian way which made it that much better. We really love this little hidden gem and will definitely be back again!

Ordered a plain croissant and a pan au chocolat. Both were missing that delicious butteriness. There should be a sensation of decadent luxury when you eat these.
I’m giving 3 stars because they do LOOK good.
Also they were ridiculously large and expensive.

This place is straight out of a movie. The bridge in the background the street everything is picturesque. The owner/chef makes all the pastries you see inside. Awesome vibe and amazing French desserts.

This is a cute place. Lots of seating although a bit cramped by the counter. The pastries look amazing and the hazelnut croissant and strawberry macaron we had were delicious. They were happy to add lavender to my latte and made the cutest pig art in my latte (see pic). They also sell cute sourdough loaves. The service was great. Decore was very nice and current. This place was pretty busy but we still were able to find a table for 3. The only drawback is it was very warm and we ended up leaving quickly to go outside and cool down.

To all of the people who are describing the food as tasting “off”, a friend and I have eaten here a few times and to me it’s an issue with the fridge that they are keeping the food in or maybe a wrap that they use. I can’t put my finger completely on it but I know exactly what these people are saying. If they did a little experiment and tried using a different fridge or something for a day or two and comparing the foods I think they might find their answer on that off gassy taste. If they could fix this, they would be great because they do a great job. Just that off gassy taste that really kills it for me and these others. Not sure how to review this since the food preparation is excellent and I’m nearly certain it’s a food storage issue

Went to The Bridge Café with my wife for our anniversary date, and it was a wonderful experience! The ambiance was very lovely and cozy, perfect for a special occasion. We enjoyed their cappuccino, almond pistachio croissant, and sun-dried chicken croissant. The cappuccino was perfectly brewed, the almond pistachio croissant was rich and flavorful, and the sun-dried chicken croissant had the perfect balance of savory and fresh. Highly recommend this charming spot in Sarnia!
