First time here- and we tried to tell them; you’d think you would do something or say something nice to welcome your new guests.
First time too that I had to spit out sashimi – never ever had bad experience eating sashimi all my life and all over the world. When you order sashimi, you expect them to be fresh. If it’s not, it’s not sashimi. You cannot serve raw fish that isn’t fresh. It’s BASIC rule.
The manager was kind and replaced the bad pieces with some salmon. Thank you. However, the bad taste linger on even after I rinsed my mouth.
The $65 sushi boat consisted of 18 pieces of sushi and 12 pieces sashimi. It was nice it comes with complimentary miso soup and a small salad.
It took a long time to get the attention of the server to order. I mean, there were hardly anyone when we were there at 6+ pm.
The place looks classy – crystal chandelier, tall ceilings, spacious layout. However, this restaurant has seen better days. The vinyl seats in our booth were so torn and tattered. The table terribly scratched (tablecloth could have easily taken care of this). The water fountain at the entrance isn’t running anymore. They use paper take-out menus for dine in guests!!! Only cheap Chinese fast food places use those!
Maybe habachi diners have better luck.
Not coming back.

This is good food. Is it worth a wait no! We made reservations for 7:30pm. We went in at 7. We weren’t seated until 7:45 which is fine. They took our drinks and then we didn’t receive or see service until 8:30. We watched two ladies leave because they had been there since 6:30. We ordered and then we watched another table have the chef come and cook for them after they were seated after us. Then we weren’t cooked and eating until 9pm. No sight of apology, no sight of reimbursement or anything. They are under staffed. I am super forgiving on that aspect but do not over book reservations if you can not accommodate showing up. I will never recommend this place ever and I personally will never be back.

We had hibachi. It was good food and the expected show. Nice, clean, and as expected. It was nothings crazy fun or unique from any other hibachi experience, but that is okay. The server was attentive and kind. We went on a weekday, and it was fairly quite. There was only one other group in the restaurant at the time. It was easy to talk and enjoy ourselves.

It was pricey I’m OK with that but the cook i had was nothing like the cook behind us maybe he was new. The show at the other table was much better and entertaining and he killed my sea bass. The drink were also good food was ordered and was out quick and we had a party of 3.

Hey, it’s your girl, Honest Review.
**Quick disclaimer, the Valentine’s box is mine. My food was not packaged this way for me at the restaurant, I did that.**
I visited this restaurant for the first time during a snowstorm. Actually, on Valentine’s Day, I purchased shrimp tempura, California roll, and spicy tuna. The presentation was not the best. The spicy tuna roll was just as messy as ever, the shrimp tempura was huge, not rap well and falling apart. I did my best placing them in the box but how you see it is how I got it. Customer service could have been better. It was a takeout order, and I had to wait on my food, but the gentleman at the front wasn’t the friendliest.
If you have a restaurant and a customer is walking in for the first time, they want to have an experience of feeling welcomed, and that’s not what I felt. Overall, it did what it did for the night. The taste of the food was not a wow factor, but I probably won’t visit again.

Been a few time and the food has always been correct, served in timely manner and hot(or cold if it was supposed to be) the scallion pancake are one of my favorite thing. Drinks have always been delicious. My least favorite thing is probably the hibachi needs served as a side order.

The food is always amazing. The wonton soup is the best I’ve ever had. We discovered this restaurant in December and we have been coming back about once every month or so. This is definitely the best place in the area for sushi. One side is a dinning room and the other side is hibachi tables. To be honest, I’ve never personally experienced the other side. The hibachi side is always busy and people cheering on the chefs. Our kids have ordered the hibachi off the menu and they say it’s excellent. We just actually realized today that we’ve been so addicted to the sushi that we haven’t explored even half the menu.
The decor is also something to be noted, I love the chandeliers, all the crystal is a great touch.

Sadly this was a disappointing experience. My friend and I ordered 3 appetizers: shrimp spring rolls, crab rangoon, and chicken satay. My friend liked her rolls, hence the second star. The other dishes were pretty awful and we didn’t finish them. I think the food may have been old and reheated or maybe frozen. The rangoon was tough and chewy, the chicken was overcooked and dried out. The seasoning was below average. The service was truly bad. After having to track down our waitress who had not checked on us, I asked for soy sauce, which she brought. When we asked for the check, she took the sauce back while we were still eating and using the sauce. Maybe this was a one off, but I won’t be back to find out.

Placed an order for takeout at 6:30 for 7:30 pickup. Got there at 7:30 and food wasn’t ready for another hour! When we opened the food was all cold. One item was missing and another order of chicken was wrong. No idea why we had to wait over an hour for cold food or wrong items. Was offered “a can of soda or something” for the wait.
