First impression was this place is kinda odd due to the lack of decor or menu on the wall or employees for that manner. The employees appeared when we got to the counter. The place was really quiet,no music or TV on even though there was a large TV against a wall. I can only guess that most of their business is to go orders.
The ordering style is one where you pick your proteins, veggies and toppings from a list and they assemble it.
We started with an order of dumplings and they were good and came with a dumpling sauce. I ordered the spicy tuna and salmon poke bowl. The portions of fish were good size and all the add ons were plentiful and balanced. Only issue was that there was nothing spicy about it except for the sriracha I chose as my sauce.
The wife ordered the spicy tuna roll and tempura roll. She said the tempura roll was cooked nicely and very tasty. She also commented that the spicy tuna roll wasn’t very spicy. But other than that everything was tasty and the fish and rice seemed fresh and all the veggies were fresh also.
Your not going to get an Asian feel from this place but the food was good and I’ll just order to go next time.

Experienced good service while in the place. Cashier was super friendly. I ordered a poke bowl my way. Fresh ingredients, tasty, and plenty for what I spent. Very satisfied with my visit, and plan to go back.

My boyfriend and I were craving sushi but didn’t want to go far, so we found Akari. We were so happy with our experience. The customer service was amazing and food was even better. Check out all of the food we got, and every single thing was delicious, well priced and fresh. Portion sizes for sushi and the Poke Bowl were more than satisfactory as well. Safe to say this will more than likely be our new sushi spot!

LET ME TELL YOU WHAT! THIS IS THE PLACE! We walked in and were greeted with a clean and warm atmosphere along with the friendly attitude of the staff. The chef created conversation about the area and sushi. He found out our likes and created sushi rolls based off of what me and my wife enjoy, which are complete opposites. When I say I had the best sushi of my life I do not lie. IT WAS THE BEST SUSHI OF MY LIFE! The texture, the flavor and the creativity was beyond what I had ever had at any other place. They talked with my toddler and treated him with snacks. The food was amazing and the time spent there was so enjoyable. I recommend this 11 out of 10 times because I’ll go out of my way to spread the word of this small business. I will be back again and again. What an experience, thank you Akari Sushi for the experience. ALSO BIODEGRADABLE BOWLS!

Pleasantly surprised! Be prepared to wait if you don’t call your order ahead. I knew that going in so I was patient, but the rolls we chose were amazing. Snowcrab roll & crunchy roll were delicious. We subbed the soy wrap instead of nori, and it was perfect. Amazing! We will definitely be back.

I just ordered Uber eats from this place. First of all it took an hour for cucumber salad and spring rolls. The drive said you weren’t busy. My spring roll was soggy and not even together. I won’t order again.

Humble digs with big flavors. I wasn’t expecting much when I walked in, but I was wrong. I bought four rolls and two drinks for just under $50. Standard pricing for sushi. The salmon was delightfully fresh tasting. The chicken was different, but also a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed every item I ordered. This place is catered to takeout, but it serves as a dine-in just fine. I found the staff to be endearing, and something about watching the sushi chef hard at work behind the counter warmed my heart.

The employees were nice and helpful, but I didn’t enjoy any of the food. I ordered two rolls of sushi, crab rangoons, and a lemonade. The lemonade was a zero-sugar one, which I didn’t order. The rangoons had a very limited amount of crab in them and little flavor. Both sushi rolls had wet rice on the outside and just didn’t have a pleasing taste overall.
