I recently went to Del Frisco’s Grille and honestly… the food was very mid. I didn’t realize this was a completely separate restaurant from Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse— I thought they were the same. That was my mistake. It definitely feels like an off-brand version ….
The salmon was dry and lacked flavor. The appetizers weren’t bad, but nothing impressive either. The only thing I truly enjoyed was my boyfriend’s crab lump cake appetizer — that was actually pretty good.
We both ordered the same entrée, and overall it was just very average. The macaroni and cheese was especially disappointing — watery and tasted like boxed mac. I was so shocked I asked the waiter about it, and that’s when she explained that it’s a different concept and that a different owner took over this location.
The sides were also the smallest portions I’ve ever seen at a restaurant in this price range.

Good experience overall because of polite service and the spirit of the location, but food is rather a let-down. Shrimp cocktail is a huge rip off – totally frost-bitten and dried out smallish shrimps for $25… Branzino served with strange-tasting salad. Calamary portion is small Humus is ok. Steak was good. Good service. Would I come back? Not sure.

Nothing more convenient than seeing the Rockefeller Christmas Tree and walking a block away to this fabulous restaurant. The place was decorated just beautifully. The 4 of us each had steak for dinner. My friend and I had the Prime Rib steak cooked to perfection and LOVED the tasty rub on it. Of the other couple one had Short Ribs and the other had Petite Filet Mignon. They said it was EXCELLENT as well ! We ordered a couple of “sides” to share and shared a fabulous Cookie Crumble Sundae that was out of this world. We all loved the whole experience being at DelFrisco’s!!

This is a great casual spot for drinks after work. They have a “girl dinner” special rn for $25 fries, salad, pasta and a drink. Great deal amazing service by Aaron as well. Will definitely be coming back.

Went for Thanksgiving dinner. It was fine. Plate could’ve been larger for the cost, but the cuisine was pretty standard. Ambiance was nice. I was seated in a quieter corner, which I appreciated. Server was also fine, though I waited 10-15 minutes to pay once I had the check. Nothing remarkable in the positive or negative.

Yesterday my partner and i went to Del Frisco’s for dinner. Immediately met with the hostess who was extremely pleasant. We were seated immediately. Our waiter, forgot his name, was really nice and patient. He checked up on us consistently but not overbearing. The manager, Marcus, also stopped by our table to check in, and we had a small chat about the snowstorm that was hidden NYC the next day. You can tell that he cared about the restaurants customers by the way he spoke. The food was excellent, especially the cheesesteak eggrolls. We were celebrating an anniversary and we were bought a cheesecake, two shots., and a lovely card. This was a memory that will always remain. Thank you Del Frisco’s for a wonderful experience. We will be back in the near future.

This was a 7/10, came here for my brothers bday, there was like almost no space to walk by the seats were literally not even an inch apart of another persons seat.. but then again we went during peak hours so I can’t complain. The food was also mid. I would recommend for drinks.

Excellent, slightly more affordable version of the original Delfriscos steakhouse. Rib eye was very well marbled and juicy, and the sides were all very tasty. The restaurant is very informal and laidback, considering the upscale location adjacent to the Rockefeller center/ tree.

I went to Del Frisco’s for my husband’s birthday. I requested a table with a view for the special occasion while booking and they came through! We got an amazing table! Our server Austin was 10/10 excellent, so kind, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. The ambiance was beautiful, and if you think it can’t possibly get better, it does! The drinks, and food were incredible. Apps, entrees, dessert, all perfection. We are obsessed and plan to go back as much as possible!
