The food is always so fresh and hot! I appreciate this location because other locations are notorious for refrying the chicken, using old fries, etc. I have had chicken, fish and shrimp from here and they do NOT disappoint! The lunch special is UNMATCHED!! The staff are always friendly and welcoming! I am thankful for this new location…we have needed one west of Pulaski!!

The first time I bought from here, shortly after they opened the Food was seasoned well, not stingy with the sauce. Service very friendly and efficient. Wings were a bit pricey 6 wings for $14. Gizzards reasonably priced. My number one go to!

Ffwd to almost two months later to today, I ordered the same thing. But they didn’t put any lemon pepper as requested and was STINGY with the sauce. Very disappointing for the price and because it was early and not busy when I placed my order. I won’t be back and I do not recommend this location–what a shame!

I was the 3rd person to order food it was only 3 customers in there im just now getting my food and leaving from 240pm til now. 330pm My food wasn’t even fixed the way I asked 12pc wing bucket fried hard with lemon pepper family coleslaw and fries. Food wasn’t hard, no lemon pepper, gave me a small coleslaw, and somewhat warm family fries. I finally gets home get ready to eat I put 6 wings on a plate went to put the other wings on a plate and it’s only 5 wings so now I’m missing 1 wing. For it to have been my 1st time there, I will not be going back I will not be missing this location at all and the only reason it has any stars from me is because it wouldn’t let me post without putting the 1 star for each one

I read many reviews before visiting this Harold’s Chicken location for the first time, and I’m really glad I did. The food was very good, the environment was clean, and the staff was welcoming and friendly.

Even though the place was overcrowded, if any order got mixed up, they fixed it within a minute, which I really appreciated. I also want to clear something up for everyone — they do put lemon pepper every time when asked. The lemon pepper soaks into the chicken, which is why you may not see it on top, but the flavor is definitely there.

Another important thing: the chicken is fresh, so it takes about 25 minutes to prepare, but the wait is absolutely worth it in the end. The buy-one-get-one offer on the 6-piece wings was awesome too.

One suggestion from a customer: please consider extending store hours. People like me who work night shifts or late hours would really appreciate it if the store stayed open until 1:00 AM. It would be great for town residents and late-night workers.

Overall, great experience, great food, and great service.
Also, please consider opening another location in or near Pulaski — that would be amazing!

Highly recommended

I requested extra mild sauce and lemon pepper and was served this. They have Indian cooks who don’t season the food everything was bland including the catfish I got. Waited over 30 minutes

Ordered a 6 piece chicken with an extra side of fries.
Pros: Nice location, Crispy chicken

Cons: Very tight space when crowded. Asked for chicken and fries to be seasoned with lemon pepper and it was not. The mild sauce was flat, unsweet, almost vinegar taste, not the usual found at historically African American mom and pop locations. Stingy with mild sauce, only top layer of food got sauce after that it was dry. Employees are not from the culture, the lady calling orders was short with customers, especially the senior citizens. When customers asked if all they requested was included with their food, she said “I don’t know what you had” but she was the one putting the mild sauce, requested seasoning, and handing out the orders.

This was my first time trying this Harolds due to me being lazy and not traveling to my favorite one on 87th. Service was good. The chicken is fresh but not seasoned at all. I asked fried hard and it wasn’t fried hard. The sauce is more on the tangy side. Glad I tried it but I won’t ever go back again.

By way of Texas! Stop by before going to Midway Airport and selected a 4 wing meal. The wings were freshly fried to order. This meal slabbed my taste buds with a delicious favor. The mild sauce was a first for me and in my opinion it complimented the chicken perfectly. I highly recommend.

I’ve been to several different Harold’s and the chicken and other food items are always on point. I’ve tried this new Harold’s twice now and the food is not great. This is actually the worst Harold’s I’ve ever been to. The chicken is not seasoned well and and it’s a bit over cooked at times. They don’t seem to be consistent with the sauce (even when you request for extra). I live down the street from this location but, in the future, if I get a hankering for some Harold’s, I’m happy to take the long drive to one of the more established Harold’s so I can be assured that I’ll get that traditional flavor that is associated with this type of chicken.
