I had such a wonderful experience at Gyro Place Palace in Rocky Point! George is truly one of the warmest and kindest people you’ll ever meet. He made me feel so welcome, even sharing a bit about his family and giving me a complimentary Greek soda — such a thoughtful gesture.
The food is always amazing and so delicious, but what makes this place extra special is the atmosphere. It feels like visiting family — warm, homey, and full of love. Thank you, George, for making my visit so memorable! Highly recommend this place to everyone.

5+ stars!! The staff are welcoming and friendly. They have genuine appreciation for their customers. The food is absolutely delicious. The gyros are filled with delicious flavors. And the restaurant is always decorated for each season. It’s a joy to walk in and be greeted with a smile by people who are happy to make you and your family a delicious meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Greek food, filled with fresh vegetables, tasty sauces and high quality flavor-filled meats.

This place has such a home feeling the second you walk through the door. The food has never changed and consistency is such a big thing. The entire family at gyro palace makes everyone else feel like family and makes the meal more enjoyable. I could rant and rave about all the food but it wouldn’t do it justice.

This was my first time ordering from this Greek restaurant. Hands down the best Greek food I’ve ever had in my life !!!! The food was delivered with care and still very hot!! The food was all very fresh tasting and very tasty !! The tzatziki sauce is fresh too and so delicious! I’m very impressed and will be ordering my fave Greek food dishes from here on out !! Delicious! Went there yesterday and staff was friendly. Place has a revolving door. Phone kept ringing with orders. Turn around time seemed to be 25-30 minutes per order. We ordered gyros and you get a huge amount! No fries needed. Forced myself to eat half and had the other half today. Kids meals are huge as well-a lot of food for my toddler. Also, ordered an american burger and a side of fries for my stepson which he loved. Good value for the money.

I ordered a takeout Greek salad with chicken souvlaki. About $18. When I walked in there was a very strong odor of mildew and behind the counter it seemed like everything was in disarray. The salad, dressing and chicken were pretty good and the only reason I didn’t give the food four stars is because they did not give a stuffed grape leaf. I have never had a Greek salad not served with one. Looking at the menu it does not specifically say it comes with one, so if you want with your salad order a side of grape leaves.

Always great good and extremely friendly staff here. I usually get something at least once a week. The gyros are off the hook, the spinach pie is divine and if you’re looking for something different, try the zucchini pie. It’s absolutely delicious! The Greek salad could use better dressing but it is ALWAYS absolutely fresh and portion size is spot on. Prices are more than fair and I will keep coming back here get the tastiest, freshest Greek food from the nicest people. Keep up the good work, your patrons appreciate it!!

I had a gyro and everyone knows people make their food differently i didn’t like it made with beef i prefer lamb meat also fries were too hard. If this was lamb meat gyro it would have been good with the portion i got which was a lot idk if it’s because i had to wait so long for my order or that’s just how they come i also got a free drink for waiting so long so that’s the only good part.
