Great Italian on the island. I’d rank up there with Stefanos and Azzuri. Some more unique menu items including the Rotolo di lasagna. I will say I was slightly disappointed in some menu changes compared to years past (blue fin tuna, meatballs, watermelon and goat cheese salad, short rib parpadelle all replaced). Kids got pizza tonight and fried Sicilian chicken and vognole. Sicilian chicken was great. The clams pasta was ok. My wife got the gnocchi and I got the lasagna. Both very good. One pet peeve with this restaurant is the you need to order all at once rule. BYOB. Thought prices comparable to Stefanos. Significantly cheaper than Raimondos.

Absolutely delicious! Went here for Father’s Day dinner and it was incredible. Everything we ordered tasted amazing, and the service was great! In particular, the cheesecake was to die for!!! Wish I could dine here all the time!

Wife and I started with the Funghi pizza and Tuscan salad.
Both pizza and salad were excellent.
For our meal we shared the eggplant parm which was served in a stack of 5 pieces of eggplant. Took home half of the pizza and part of the stack of eggplant.
Very satisfied

Fantastic restaurant in Beach Haven, easy to find with a small parking lot and street parking. Was lucky enough to grab a res here for restaurant week so this review will be based on the fixed menu provided. Place was easy to find , cozy and small interior and a covered porch. Hostess was super friendly and server was on top of everything and very professional. BYOB so be sure to bring a bottle of your favorite wine. Apps were delicious, the pizza was well made, the Fritto misto was flavorful and fresh, and the vitello tonnato was nice and rich. For mains the Vongole was was delicious and garlicky. Definitely keep this in mind if you’re planning on kissing anyone that night. The Pampanella was well seasoned and juicy, absolutely delicious. The risotto had a wonderful earthiness and the prawns were a great accompaniment. The cheesecake was fantastic and the tiramisu was the perfect sweet treat. Overall a fantastic meal for the price and a wonderful experience. Definitely a cozy place to enjoy a great meal with friends or a loved one. Will definitely be back!

Decent Frutti Di Mare – squid ink tonnarelli pasta – lobster, mussels, calamari – pasta was cooked well.
Funghi pizza – a lot of wet ingredients on top made the crust wet. Should’ve been better in the wood burning oven.
They tried to make us feel bad for not having reservations. Restaurant fairly empty.
It took forever to even get water. Hostess eventually accommodated.
Prime season island prices.

A great experience from beginning to end. Alex is top notch! He was very informative about the menu and had great recommendations! Porterhouse steak was absolutely outstanding. Be sure to order ahead to share with the table along with their delicious selection of pastas. Looking forward to our next visit!

Isola opened last summer and as I live abroad I didn’t get to visit until I came back for Christmas and I was very curious about their pork chop (I remember when their menu was first published the price was eye watering). It was the best pork chop ever. The fried olives brought us right back to our recent trip to Puglia and Sicily. The pasta was delicious and not something I would think to order: the cacio e Pepe. Desserts were great too. All the food was very good and we will be back again in December. We were able to sit in their heated outdoor area that was winterized. The service was having an off day and was rushed and not attentive. At one point the bus boy asked if we wanted any coffee cause he’s about to dump the carafe I tried to organize a candle for a cake for my mom and it was a bit chaotic but worked out. We will be back. Apparently that evening someone was paying for the bills of random strangers at the restaurant. Ours was not.
