We were visiting Tahoe with friends and decided to stop in get a drink and some food . We were seated immediately. Byron was our server and was excellent . Really took care of us. We sat outside and was really nice. I ordered half dozen wings teriyaki and an old fashioned. All of it was good . My son had grilled cheese and enjoyed . My wife had the soup which was tomato bisque. It was really good . Friend and his wife had the French dip and Gouda Mac & Cheese and enjoyed as well. All in all was a nice Meal and a good time .
Enjoy !!!!
We ordered the Hot Cider, Kids’ Grilled Cheese, Bob’s Burger, California Burger, and Onion Rings.
It’s good to be back.
I’m leaving this review because the adult grilled cheese (pictured) was absolutely amazing. I could eat that sandwich for lunch every day! If you like cheese, bacon, and avocado you need to try this sandwich!
I was pleasantly surprised as both our server ( I forgot his name , cute guy with a lovely smile ) and our hostess Kiara were extremely helpful and friendly. I had a very good time and I was well attended.
And I really need to mention the veggie patty burger that I had – it was out of the world ! It was the tastiest thing I had tasted in entire Tahoe as a vegetarian. I’m so glad I took a chance and went in here . Thank you !
I ordered The American Burger with battered fries and upgraded to the garlic Parmesan rosemary topping—absolutely worth it .
The staff is on point and super quick. Everyone had a smile on their face and made us feel right at home . They’re also dog‑friendly! I didn’t bring mine this time, but I saw plenty of other bb dogs living their best life.
Definitely recommend this place.
The service was just okay—efficient, but it felt a bit transactional/impersonal, lacking warmth and hospitality.
I was especially disappointed with the sweet potato tots. Honestly, they were the main reason I came in—and they were not good. Completely undercooked, soft, and mushy instead of crispy. I also was expecting a lot more than the small amount of tots i was given for the price I paid.
The Inferno Burger I ordered (with added blue cheese) was really solid though—nicely spicy, and the hot honey gave it a unique and delicious twist. Would definitely recommend this burger!
Overall, the food had its high points, and the location was convenient, but between the overpriced menu, the lackluster service, and those awful tots, I probably wouldn’t come back next time I’m in Tahoe.
