He ordered pork Oso Buco (tender and delicious)that came with mashed potatoes (chunky, creamy and yummy)and broccoli (needed cooked a little more). I had ribeye med rare(cooked perfectly and good flavor), that came with asparagus(good) and some kind of creamy rice with mushrooms(super good). Neither of us liked the salad that came with it. The beer was cold and my wonder 5 mixed drink was ok. If it was frozen it would have been lit. The bread was soft and the dip paired with it perfectly. The waiter was perfect(pik in background). Loved the timing of the train.. Reservations is highly recommended after 5. Parking in the back but not very many spaces. We got cannoli to go. There were pretty darn good.

Wife and I sat at the bar as we didn’t have reservations and was quicker to be seated. Reservations are definitely recommended. Chevy was great attending to us. Drinks were tasty, food was delicious and service was attentive. Atmosphere is nice, the restaurant is on the smaller side. The head Chef came out and talked with us along with one of the owners. We will be going back.

Franklin’s newly renovated restaurant is a delightful spot. The upscale ambiance is complemented by the friendly and accommodating staff. Despite not having a reservation, they went above and beyond to assist me. Bryce, my waiter, was a delightful person who recommended several dishes. I opted for the Rigatoni Vodka, which had a good flavor but was a bit too salty for my taste. I usually have a high tolerance for salt, but this was a slight overpowering amount. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and will definitely return to try other items on their menu.

My son and daughter in law were visiting from out of town. I recommend Izzo. They went this evening for dinner. They said that right off the bat the table paper had obviously had a pink colored drink spilled on it. The appetizer was good as was the salad. The issue came with my daughter in laws steak. She had ordered the filet and ordered it medium. It was barely warmed. They raised this issue they were offered nothing to compensate for this Very disappointed and will have an impact on any future visit from us.

My spouse and I got a spinach pesto gnocchi dish and a classic carbonara so we each could try both. I was pretty underwhelmed, but she liked both. That said the house salad was surprisingly wonderful and the complimentary focaccia was fluffy as a cloud and delicious. I didn’t find the atmosphere that engaging but the service was outstanding. I would go again, just maybe not in a hurry. And for lunch the prices were reasonable for the high quality of food.

This was a truly wonderful experience. Great date night and fancy dining experience in Franklin. The location is a little rough as it is by a railroad line, and the parking is limited. The inside had a very nice modern but classic look. You will definitely need to make reservations as there is not a lot of seating. The staff and owner were wonderful. They checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Our glasses were never empty. This is a must experience if you are in the Franklin area. But be sure to have a reservation. Lunch time is a lot more open if you are in the area.

This has become my favorite restaurant on the Southside. The service and food quality here is exceptional. The hostess had a smile and made us feel welcome right as we walked in the door. The service was fast, personable, and efficient. The food stole the show though. 4 of us ordered different entrees and we all loved them. Limoncello was great too! This will be my go to special occasion restaurant on the southside. Justin and crew are legit.

My wife and I visited on February 14th for her birthday. Xuening had the Sausage and Peppers (rigatoni, mild Italian sausage, red and yellow pepper, red onion, Iozzo sauce, alfredo mozzarella, provolone, oven baked) with a house salad and I had the Cheese Ravioli in Bolognese sauce with a Caprese salad (heirloom grape tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil oil, balsamic glaze, micro basil). Our server, Steve, was great and the food was excellent. We left thoroughly full with leftovers for the next day!

To have a place like this in Franklin is amazing. They did a beautiful job renovating, the setting and overall atmosphere is great, relaxing, simple, comfortable, with an upscale feeling.

Every dish we had was perfect, the service was top notch. (Shout out to Katie, our server who was unbelievable.)

We will be telling everyone it’s a must and we will very much become regulars.

Absolutely amazing job!

Was in Indiana for a Cross Country event in Shelbyville recently and Iozzo’s was one of the highlights of the trip. We wanted some carbs for the race and out of all the options we lucked out and picked here. We liked it so much we came back the next day and ate there again.

The staff both nights were excellent. The atmosphere was excellent it was cozy and personal with real family photos on the wall not stock photos ordered from a catalog. Most importantly the food was excellent.

The red sauce that came on the pasta was so good I asked about it and the chef (or maybe the owner?) came out to tell me how they made it.

We are not from the area and don’t know why or when we would ever come back but if we do we’ll certainly stop by again.
