Angelo’s Burgers is a family owned and operated restaurant chain that has been serving the north San Diego county since 1978. Angelo’s strives to provide its customers with the highest quality food, excellent service and reasonable prices. Angelo’s Burgers began with a standard fast food menu, and since has expanded into a full service breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, serving hundreds of tasty and freshly prepared meals including (but not limited to): mouthwatering burgers, healthy salads, zesty Mexican food (served with our homemade sauces), hand-cut fries/onion rings/zucchini sticks, and of course, our infamous breakfast items like The Big Deal and the HUGE breakfast burritos. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day!

Sorry Angelo, but back to Hamburger U. At the core of the basic cheesburger is a hard, chewy, cheap beef patty mounted on a huge pile of lettuce with a tasteless tomato slice on an outsized bun. There is a decent sauce and some pickles. The fries are very good–hot and crispy. While I love fries with a burger, I just need a handful but they make you buy a pile big enough for 2-3 people for close to $5.00, which is more than 50% of the cost of the crappy burger. Service was fine and ambiance old style burger joint. I remember this place when it was an A&W with much better burgers.

I was a little skeptical about their “World famous” claims but man, the fried zucchini/fries/onion rings were insanely good! Perfectly fried, perfectly battered, perfectly seasoned! And you better come hungry cause you get SO MUCH for the money. I also had the pastrami and burger and they were super good as well. Staff were extremely friendly too!
Will definitely be coming back here on my vacations! I won’t forget the mountain that was still there after we got full haha

I had a pleasant experience at this location. I randomly stopped by to grab some food, and was immediately overwhelmed when I saw the menu (not a bad thing, just a lot of options). I had the quarter lb burger with fries. It came to around $13, so these days, it’s very reasonable. The portion size on the fries is massive. The pic I posted was AFTER I finished eating my meal. Fries were tasty. Burger was good. Not great, but very good. I love the vibe and outdoor seating.

Food was good big portions only thing I complain about is if there to busy your order might not be right . I asked for all bacon no sausage but didn’t get that and asked for iced latte and they made a hot one . I feel bad in person complaining more than once so just kept the sausage but had them redo the latte . Other than that food was delicious portions are huge . Atmosphere was amazing very clean .

As a lifelong Chicagoland kid, I have opinions. I’ve been in San Diego for 21 years and have rarely come to Oceanside. Same for Angelos, as we just discovered this tonight. A- for the dogs as the bun just couldn’t handle the heft of the ingredients but the flavors were excellent. The Gyro was massive! Again, great flavors, A+. Cheese fries were great. A+. Next time we’re here, we’ll stop by. And the beer list? Ridiculous.

Went to grab a burger for breakfast with my sister and food was pretty good. The restaurant is clean in the inside and our food did not disappoint. I got a 1/2 pound cheeseburger and it was good and huge. My sister got a chicken sandwich and she loved it, especially the crunchy pickles. Worth the money. Looking forward to come back.

Ordered the monster bacon Cheese burger combo. For the price definitely better then MCD. Nice and big, good amount of lettuce, 1000 island dressing added to the well balanced flavor. The steak fry were a nice touch. Over i enjoy the meal. I nice to see these mom and pop restaurants still around. They have a large selection to choose from. If are hungry for breakfast at dinner time they got you covered.
