From the get go I have to say the staff is phenomenal. My order came fast on a busy, yet cold Florida morning. The place was packed and the waitresses kept up. I know I needed coffee but the menu is expansive and I decided to go with the “ split decision breakfast”. This came with eggs, sausage, French toast and glorious pancakes, which I topped with blueberry syrup!!! This is surely a place I will come back to! Restaurant is clean, there is lots of parking and is in the heart of Port Charlotte on US 41.

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but Kasinda absolutely deserves one. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with the warmest smile and such a genuine, welcoming attitude. You can immediately tell when someone actually cares about their job and their customers and that’s exactly the vibe she gave.
She was attentive without hovering, quick without rushing us, and somehow managed to stay calm and positive even when the restaurant started getting busy. Our drinks never hit empty, she made sure our food came out hot and exactly how we ordered it, and she checked in at the perfect times. It’s the little things remembering small requests, offering refills before we even had to ask, making sure everything tasted good and she nailed all of it.
What really stood out was her attitude. She wasn’t just “doing her job” she made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. She had such a kind spirit and great energy that it honestly made our whole meal better. Good service makes a difference, and exceptional service makes you want to come back and that’s exactly how we feel.
IHOP is lucky to have her. If you get seated in her section, you’re in good hands. Thank you, Kasinda, for going above and beyond and making our visit such a great one. We’ll definitely be back!

Went in for a quick breakfast so was in kind of a hurry. I didn’t tell my server. Should have though. I ordered Sirloin tips, scrambled eggs, hash browns and pancake platter. The steak was cooked perfectly med rare/well! It was really tender and no fat or gristle. The mushroom and onions were delicious as well. The meat prepped like this is a rarity and I commend the cook! Eggs were as ordered and not overcooked. Hash browns crispy and brown but not dry. The cakes were great, after all it is IHOP. My server was very kind and prompt on taking my order. Then it got busy pretty quickly. I got no checkup on my water and sat with an empty plate for several minutes before I went to their station to get my check. My pet peeve in my travels has always been when my check does not arrive before my meal is finished. A customer should never have to ask for a check let alone hunt someone down. I worked in the industry decades ago and my boss impressed that on us all. That said, I will definitely be back because the food was that good and the price at roughly $15 for steak and eggs and pancakes is the lowest in Charlotte county I could find.

English muffin wasn’t cooked bacon fell apart no hollandaise sauce on eggs Benedict poached eggs was solid in center. Avocado was the only thing worth eating and I didn’t ..also got strawberry banana pancakes and oddly enough the bananas were brown older than the avocado.

We came in for breakfast and were helped by Loni, and she was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She was kind, patient, attentive, and genuinely warm—one of those servers who makes you feel comfortable and cared for, not rushed or forgotten.
We ran into an unexpected issue with payment and tipping, and Loni handled it with so much grace and understanding. Not once did she make us feel awkward or uncomfortable. Instead, she was incredibly kind and simply asked that we leave her a review—which she absolutely deserves.
If you’re dining here, I truly hope you get Loni as your server. She’s a gem and a perfect example of what great customer service should look like. Thank you, Loni, for making our morning brighter!

I had breakfast with a friend at IHOP in Port Charlotte, FL this morning. Our waitress, Thamar, was exceptional. She was very friendly and professional. She graciously accommodated my request for a quiet seating location. She was very patient and helpful in taking my complicated gluten-sensitive order. And she checked back with us after serving our food, to be sure that everything was OK. I wish that every waitress/waiter was as nice as Thamar.
