Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I used to love coming here, but after witnessing what happened to a young employee, I’m honestly disappointed. Watching a manager yell at him, push him around, and then call him a “crybaby” was completely unacceptable. He couldn’t have been older than 16 or 17. No young person deserves to be treated like that in their workplace.
This was distasteful and unprofessional. Do better. If this isn’t addressed, HR will absolutely be receiving an email.

I took my 3 grandsons there today and they didn’t get the order right, my meat was so over cooked it was crunchy. When we cleaned our table off the trash can was so full we couldn’t throw it away so we had to leave it on top. We eat at Whataburger a lot but this was the worse experience we’ve ever had.

Good quick dinner on our through Rockport. We dined in and the dining room was tidy and pleasant to visit. Manager was on top of things and encouraged her staff to be their best.

I love this place but when i asked if i could play vr in the bathroom they rudely denied and told me to get out. So when i came back on my bike (swag ) i ordered and got my food but the workers gave me a nasty side eye causing me to forget i had a burger in my back pocket and unfortunately i sat down. Wasn’t the best experience.

The gorgeous woman taking my order yesterday turned around to grab some fries for a fellow customer and lets just say she had a very impressive behind. So I screamed “What-a-booty!” guess I´m banned from here but it was worth it.

I consider this place an “ol reliable”. Fantastic establishment. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Food is always fresh and delicious. It’s always clean and the atmosphere is calm and friendly. One of the best Whataburger’s in the area.

The manager should be fired, from yelling at her employees to actually shoving one of them. Absolutely unacceptable for a person of management position to lay hands on an employee for ANY reason! When asked to speak with her she fled to the back and wouldn’t come out front to speak with us.

My burger was wrong didn’t add my mustard and the lettuce it had was all the hard white part. The patty melt didn’t have very much sauce so was dry.
