Really good food! We got a couple salads and a taco, all really tasty! The service was also good — we will definitely go again.

Pro: free street parking, public restroom, tasty French toast meal, can watch sports on tv near bar.
Con: about $20/person menu didn’t notice any particular great deals, small restaurant seats probably less than 40 people better reserve table if bringing friends.

Super disappointed. The nachos were super sad and missing 3 main items: refried beans, pico de gallo, and jalapeños. The enchilada was teeny tiny and underwhelming. The quesadilla was carnitas and not the chicken I ordered. We will not be back. Sadly, Taco Bell is better and cheaper.

I stopped in for a quick Carne Asada burrito. I loved it! I’ll be going here more often! That was a great burrito. I’m kind of a burrito snob. Really loved the balance homemade taste. Generous amount of fresh avocado.

We stopped here after a 2 hour drive and had to use the restroom first. When I asked the lady said it was for customers only and I said “I know. We have a dog so we are outside but I have to go first.” Then she told me someone was in there already so I went and sat down. Then this guy came up to our table with waters and said and I quote “sorry about her Latina attitude in this white economy” who says stuff like that freely? We immediately got up and left. I will not be eating at a place that discriminates. Especially a white man working in a Mexican restaurant.

This was the perfect place for our family to get together. We ate in the shaded back patio and enjoyed good food and drinks. Everything was delicious and service was great. We even came to the bar for a last round of drinks and our server gladly took some great family photos we will cherish for years. Afterwards we took a nice walk to grab ice cream and walked out to the pier for a beautiful sunset. Loved it!

Love.this.place.100% AWESOME! From the moment we walked in, we felt like guests in a welcoming place, after a long day of appointments, we were in search of refuge in the form of chips and salsa, a stiff drink and maybe a plate of nachos before an hour long trek back home to SF. We had the street tacos, rice and beans with chips and salsa. Delicious is an understatement! If you want awesome food, a nice place to eat, indoors or out, OR you prefer street side at a table to people watch, indoors for air conditioning, or there’s ALSO – the back courtyard with shade and privacy, plenty of seating, fans for hot days or heat lamps for cold nights… THIS PLACE ROCKS! I may regret telling people how awesome this place is but it needs to be recognized. We are picky. This is only my 2nd review…EVER. Thank you, 709 <3 Joel and Heather

Absolutely terrific food. Because there were several of us, we were able to try many different dishes. Amazing! Service fast and friendly. Luz cooks everything herself with great pride. Don’t miss it!

All the food was a bit too spicy and I like spicy but it ended up taking away from other flavors of the food. I was told that they are reopening under new management or something like that so I hope it gets better. The drinks were also a bit pricey. I’ll definitely come back in a few months to check it out again because I love to support small business, especially in this cute town!
