Quick stop on our way to a concert at four winds, we didn’t want fast food. This came up on our Google search and let me tell u AMAZING! We were immediately seated (party of 5) waitress was very young (18ish) but wow service was on point! She did amazing the food was amazing and for the price very plentiful. Desserts were amazing! I thought the waitress was going to fall over when she got an amazing tip but she was so deserving of every penny. Wish I remembered her name but with our tip she won’t forget us! Was last Saturday night about 8-9 pm. This girl gave service like she has done this work for 40+ yrs and with a smile! Thank you

The food was flavorful and well-prepared. The food here is absolutely delicious! My dish (Mediterranean Grilled Center cut pork chops and Polish Cabbage Soup I ordered was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The pork chops are marinated in olive oil, oregano, and dusted with garlic. The Polish Cabbage soup is fused with sauerkraut and filled with seasoned Polish sausage.
I love that they use fresh ingredients, which makes the flavors pop.

Everything tasted great, as always. Two suggestions. When serving corn please provide a teaspoon with it. Today I had the Roast beef and stuffed baked potato special. It tasted good, I would suggest cutting the broccoli into small pieces.

Quintessential Americana diner with old time railroad car motif. Huge, diverse menu (as common to diners). If you don’t know that your meal also includes a small dessert, you’re leaving money on the table. Always good to ask to make sure.

Kia the server made our day so much we went back the next day and will go there again because of her! The food was down home and plentiful… I had the bacon cheddar burger. More bacon than I’ve had on a burger in a mom and pop place but AMAZING!!! Her French toast was so good and there was so much food, we could only eat half. Good bang for the buck!
The building it self shows wear and is a little dirty… About what I expected but as a chef, it wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t eat there.

I really liked this restaurant as it’s owned by the same family as Cristos in Plymouth only it’s a very unique experience from that. Easily a 4 star restaurant with the food being fantastic. However service was a little lacking. The house server seemed friendly and waited on us when our waitress didn’t seem interested. Either she had a bad day (could be) or didn’t want to be there (could be) either way we’ve had better on that end. Thankfully the house server took care of us in between. She didn’t do bad, just not great. Prices might seem a little high, but you won’t leave hungry or disappointed. Over all we enjoyed the experience.

The most expensive and tasteless food we’ve had. $92 for 4 of us to have lunch and an appetizer.
My soup wasn’t edible. She came back to the table and asked if I was done. I said yes. Followed by it was nasty. She said sorry. Didn’t offer another soup or another option.
The rest of our food took forever to come out even though there was only a handful of people in the diner.
My husband’s sirloin was bland. He even asked if they use any spices and the server said no. Again, brought to the attention of their server and no attempts were made to fix the situation. It was even cut by the cook to see if it was done. Making the presentation less than ideal.
Just very disappointed in the entire experience.

We come to Laporte sometimes and tried Christos last time. My husband and I weren’t a huge fan. When we sat down at this diner, we realized it may be the same owners as Christos and were nervous. Honestly, this place was worse. The inside was pretty nice, people were friendly, and we sat down quick. Our waitress may have been new which we gave credit for, but the food wasn’t the best to me. We had to ask for more to drink. It would take our waitress a long time to come back to us, even when we asked a question. She wouldn’t come back for 15-20 minutes with an answer. It took an hour just to get our food and it was only my husband and I. I got a special that comes with a dessert. She asked if I wanted it with my food, I said yes. She didn’t bring it until the very end and by that time I just wanted to leave. It was expensive and honestly it shouldn’t have been with the service we received.
