I’m from Chicago but come to the area often for work. I’ve visited this restaurant a handful of times and my experience has always been above average. Solid food, good vibes and a great patio. Can’t say enough about this place. Food was so good. Wings are amazing . Sweet tater tots are a must . View is gorgeous outside seating with the most beautiful hydrangea bushes. Not to mention they make a killer toasted almond drink. The waitresses Alyssa and Charlee are true gems. Will be a place I will return and recommend.

We stopped in for a quick bite and made 2 great choices. I got the double wedge salad. It was very good and was probably enough for 2 people. It had lots of toppings and large wedges of tomato. We also ordered a penne vodka pizza and added sausage to it. It was fantastic and would definitely order again. There were lots of TVs playing sports, while dance music thumping and the most diverse group of people in age and every other way which made for a very interesting atmosphere. There was so much going on. I would return just for that, but the pizza is definitely a bonus. Check it out for yourself. It’s an interesting and lively place.

The outdoor patio is very pretty & has a nice view of the water. For a short period, it was very hot & sunny & the umbrellas just weren’t the right angle to help. It got better as the sun lowered & there was a bit of a refreshing breeze.
The waitress was pleasant and stopped by frequently to take our order & bring drinks. I’d prefer the waitress bring out the food bc the young guys that delivered the food had no idea what they were delivering or where it actually went. We weren’t sure which/whose sushi rolls were delivered. Many times they brought other peoples food to our table.
The flower beds are beautiful & there’s a nice water display by the front door. Plenty of parking. Nice place for friends to eat and talk together.

This is a beautiful restaurant that offers some of the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten, served by the nicest waiters. I had a 10oz Sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and steak fries and a house salad. I had such a good first impression that I came back 2 days later. This restaurant is huge. It has a large dining room, multiple private event areas, a big bar area, terrace, lake view. It has it all.

We went to MJ’s last night and had Ellie as our waitress. She was sweet, nice, and friendly from the start. It was a busy Saturday evening, so even though it took a while for our order to be taken, we understood — the place was packed.
Our appetizers came out and were great. When our entrees arrived, the appetizer plates hadn’t been cleared and Ellie wasn’t quite sure who ordered what, so we shuffled plates around ourselves. Again, it’s a bar/restaurant, and we weren’t bothered — things happen on a busy night.
Our total bill was about $220. My husband and I paid half, our friends paid the other half, and both parties tipped $30 — a total of $60. We were perfectly happy with our service and ready to leave a great review.
As we were heading out toward the valet area, Ellie came running out with my friend’s debit card, which we were very grateful for. But as I turned to thank her, she loudly said, “You guys should leave me another $20 for running out with your debit card to catch you.”
That moment completely changed the tone of the evening. What could’ve ended on a really positive note unfortunately didn’t. Ellie, if you see this — kindness and good service speak for themselves. Asking for more money after being tipped generously is never the right move.

This place is a nice restaurant to eat at, but if you stay past nine on Saturdays, it turns into club and each of the bartenders give you different prices for the same drink. They charge up charge you even if you stay consistent with your drink. That’s the only downside of this place. I got a tequila sunrise I got charged $11, $12 and $14 for the same drink just different bartenders. They also don’t like taking cash.

We came here for lunch, but ordered from regular menu, not the lhe lunch special or “todays special”, that the bill was high.
The restaurant itself is very big, and it’s commonly used as a wedding venue and banquet hall.
There are outdoor and indoor sitting areas, and both offer plenty of sittings.
There is a huge bar inside, a d smaller outside.
The restaurant is located right next to Lake Lefferts and has the lake view.
Food.
We had mozzarella sticks, calmary, spicy shrimp.
I had salmon as my entrée.
Mozzarella sticks were great. Personally I don’t calmary, I tried, still No-no for me.
Salmon itself was very juicy, perfectly grilled, bit it’s sause was too sweet for me, so I didn’t enjoy it as I was hoping for.
The restaurant has a very landscaping, pond with lilies and small waterfall in the front.
After you enter on the left side there is a very beautiful passage to a banquet hall.
I would recommend this place due to its beauty and lake front location and willing to give it 1 more try foodwise.

Sat outside on the deck to watch local band Pezhead. Excellent performance.
The pizza was very good. Sauce was house made and very fresh. Nice spot to enjoy the lake with some live music.
