With all my travels always looking to explore new places and not just your “everyday” restaurant. Just discovered a gem for anyone craving delicious gyros and Greek fries! The baklava was the perfect sweet ending too. Highly recommend checking this place out! #FoodieFinds #GreekCuisine #DeliciousEats

We found this on the way back to a hotel, and instantly decided to go. The atmosphere here is fantastic, feels very authentic and welcoming. The owner was very friendly and welcoming as well!

The food was amazing, we got a Greek salad, a chicken pita, and a 1/3 burger. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the tzatziki sauce was amazing, and everything was very tasty.

Prices were very reasonable, and felt like a very generous serving for the money that we paid.

Overall we had a great time, the food was fabulous, and we would definitely go again.

This place is a MUST!! Family run. Great food. I don’t know how they weren’t packed. The owners; Dino and his wife, are absolute gems. Personable, attentive, and truly care about the food. We had Dolmades, Horiatiki, Mousaka, and Chicken Kebobs. All fresh and amazing. We ended with authentic fresh Baklava. Highly recommend .

12/31/22-The food was tasty, but some of it is over priced like the plates. My gyro was a good price to value of food, but the plate my mom ordered as over priced by $4-5 based on the amount of food on it. My water glass had soap on the outside of it. The baklava was one of the best I have tried, but I bit into a large hard piece of clove that I don’t think was ground up well for it. Their restroom could also use a good scrubbing. This is one of those places you either try just once or make it a once a year thing.

The baklava we all got was the best I’ve had in a long, long, time. Food was also good and the Greek beer was smooth and light. I can recommend the poor boy combo!

Ordered the chicken kebab platter. The price currently is $25. Probably around 6 ounces of chicken, half a cup of rice, and what counts as steamed vegetables is three or four chopped green beans. I live near a Mediterranean restaurant downtown and their grilled kebab platter is $22 with ten ounces of chicken and a heaping plate of rice.

The restaurant is nice inside though. Good atmosphere so if you’re fine paying a little extra for food it’s a nice stop.

Edit: I tried the food and the chicken was dry and not flavorful.

By far the closest thing you’ll get to Greek Town from a born and raised Chicagoan. Tears were brought to my eyes from the soup all the way to the salmon. Did i mention this was hands down the BEST salmon dish I’ve ever had?! Secret family recipes should stay this way in order to keep service and quality up like this place. EAT HERE! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. And if you don’t care for Greek cuisine, at least go for the owners excellent personality. He loves what he does and it shows. ✌

We recently ordered food from It’s Greek 2 Me to celebrate an employee’s work anniversary, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Several team members ordered chicken dishes, and the chicken was so dry that everyone who ordered it ended up throwing their food away.

As a courtesy, I called to share feedback with the owner’s wife, hoping they would appreciate knowing about our experience. Instead, I was met with an argumentative response insisting that “they make all their food fresh and it is never dry,” rather than acknowledging the concern or offering any resolution.

Customer service matters, and while mistakes happen, dismissing feedback is not the way to handle it. Based on this experience, we will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Excellent food! Well taken care of by the owner himself! You have to try the warm dolmades and the saganaki! Some of the best in the city!! The gyros are amazing, the skewers divine, and the baklava made by his wife (grandmother’s recipe ) was phenomenal!! Go and check this neighborhood spot out! You won’t regret it!

Good food, great baklava. IMPORTANT NOTE! They do NOT accept online orders even though the option looks available and you get charged. The order will not go through. Call and order or come in!
