First time trying this place
Ordered a medium with onions, mushrooms and green peppers. When I opened the box, I thought, Hey, that looks pretty good. But as soon as I took my first bite, I could tell that the crust was way off, I almost thought it was pre frozen crust at best. I would rate this at fairground pizza. 5 out of 10 After my first bite, I was tempted to just throw it away and go get dinner elsewhere but it was running late. So I suffered through it. Worst part is. I offered to buy friend dinner and bring it home. And this is what I came home with. I had to apologize to her. I think Tony has been long since dead. And whoever’s running this operation nows running it on the fumes of his prior reputation. this pizza, I would never go here again. It was dry with very little sauce. And there was hardly any cheese at all on it. I can honestly say I’ve had delicio frozen pizza. That tastes better than this and at half the price.

This a nook on 2nd ave/441 in north Miami. Pizza is excellent lite crisp flavorful and delicious. Lunch specials are priced well and worth the drive. I love supporting small businesses like myself. Tony’s Pizza is a hidden gem tucked in a small strip mall off 441 — a classic hole-in-the-wall that’s been around a long time. Small, no-frills spot, but the food is always solid.
I usually get my order to-go and almost always go for the Light Chicken — sautéed spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, and garlic in a light broth. It’s fresh, flavorful, and comes with generous chunks of chicken. Super satisfying and usually lasts me two meals!
One small issue — I had to ask for plastic utensils with my takeout. They apologized and let me know they only had forks, but no knives available, which made eating the dish a bit tricky since it really needs a knife to cut the chicken. Would be great if utensils were included by default with to-go orders.
I’ve never dined in— they have a few tables and benches, nothing fancy. I stop by about once a month when I’m in the area. Definitely worth checking out for a casual, hearty bite.

Sadly this was my last visit. I loved this place for many years. I checked my food before I left and it was clear I wasn’t happy . The person who made my pizza (wasn’t Oscar) knew it was burnt/over cooked before serving it to me. He saw I inspected it and did not offer to make a new one (nor would I have asked). Burnt pizza is not the end of the world. However, my family was hungry so I took the food which was 100% my fault for not asking for a refund on the spot. For the most part they are consistent with their product, however tonight pride wasn’t taken for the food they represented so I will find another establishment.

What’s great spot. Pizza was delicious. Ordered some mozzarella sticks while looking at the menu. Two medium pizzas. The pepperoni and the buffalo chicken, both were phenomenal. Lots of flavor and the dough perfectly cooked. The young man working at the cashiers was very polite and attentive. Free parking in the lot at front. They do lots of carry out as I was watching orders been placed. See you soon.
