First time stopping into Waba Grill in Norwalk, and I have to say the service from Jose at the register really stood out. Being new and not knowing what to order, he suggested the grilled fish tacos instead of the bowl, and it was an excellent recommendation. I went with the trio, and it did not disappoint—all the flavors complemented each other perfectly, from the fish down to the sauce. The price was very fair, and the food came out quickly, which made the experience even better.
Overall, I was very happy with the meal and the service. While it’s not a five-star, I’d still call it a solid spot to grab something fresh and flavorful. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town for work.

is it me or they are starting to serve less rice? the flavor is good. the food looks clean. it was good food today but I remember plate used to be topped. Also, this is not a chinese food restaurant but if started to serve chow Mein, I believe it would sell. I can’t attach picture of my plate but it looked half served.

I usually experience no issues but i recently just ordered a chicken bowl and received a disappointing amount of chicken/food. Its as if half of the bowl was reserved for beef but I only have the half side of chicken even though I ordered a chicken bowl and I am quite upset because this is comparable to a kid’s size meal.

Honestly, not sure why Waba grill still keeps serving salads when most of the time it’s wilted and black. And this isn’t one particular Waba grill, but most of the ones I go to, this one was particularly bad though. It’s nice to have some green on the side but they should just replace it with steamed veggies or something. I usually end up throwing the salad away and wish I just got a bowl with extra protein or something. Food is alright if it’s the only thing in the area.

SMH…I ordered $70 worth of food and got looked at funny for asking for ONE more sauce…one
On top of that, I had to come back after getting home, only to realize, they forgot one of the meals I ordered.
Advice…maybe spend less time fighting customers over 2 cents worth of sauce and spend more time getting food orders accurate…
Now my food is cold at home…SMH

On July 6th at 6:08 p.m. ordered Bowl and added avocado; it had black Parts on it I took a picture I sure did the person when I place another order today to please do not put up a, that’s black. She told the other girl with a ponytail and curly hair and she made a face sarcastically and I’ll hurt her tell the cook not going to eat black avocado. So the girl that was preparing the food I showed her the photographs on my phone and she said to my surprise: ” there’s nothing I can do that’s how we sell it”. I did not appreciate that answer and I spoke with the cook and he had the right attitude indicating that the girl was in error of her attitude and he was sorry that we got the black avocado on the last order. People shouldn’t get fired they should get retrained; but more importantly, people that get hired need to have the right attitude and food service it’s not an easy job— dealingwith people. But you have to be polite and hear out the complaint if there’s any with the right attitude

The tables and floor was filthy . I asked the lady to have someone clean the tables and they just ignored me and never cleaned it. So I had to wipe the table myself so we can eat. My daughter loved the waba sauce she asked for extra sauce for her food. He told her he would have to charge $ .30. The customer service was horrible .

Asked for green onion twice to assure I got them and still did not! And when it came to serving it was extremely small, and they were stingy with the waba sauce .. Although the quality was great!! Just wish I could have got it the way I asked !
