Our first time here. The server was great, the manager was great. The grilled pork chops are PHENOMENAL! We will be back for sure

We were very disappointed with the food at this location. We eat Charlestons fairly often at another location. The food was really bad. Normally, the potato soup is amazing! This time potato soup had a very bitter taste to it. We also had a dark red long hair on top of our appetizer. Our waiter was amazing! However, the manager never apologized or said anything. He did replace the items that were not good. We did not ask for or expect any discount for the food. Just a little concerned the managing staff was not more embarrassed of the poor quality of the food.

The half chicken is worthy of another visit. Tender and juicy. The croissants are perfect even if you just eat them alone. I will definitely be back again whenever I visit Oklahoma again

We dined this Friday evening and were amazed by everything. Isabella was our waitress and she was spectacular. She was very attentive and funny We started off with a flatbread pizza which was really thin and light. I ordered the grilled chicken avocado club. I think it’s probably one of the best club sandwiches I’ve ever had. My boyfriend ordered the oven roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and mushrooms, delicious. I would recommend eating dinner here.

Charleston’s Oklahoma City failed at every level—kitchen, management, and accountability—and then charged full price for the privilege.
I was served a New York strip covered in what looked like blue space vomit and toilet paper. This was not subtle or questionable. It was immediately and obviously wrong. Even our waiter commented that he thought he was going colorblind when the plate hit the table. When your own staff reacts like that, the problem is already severe.
My wife and I ordered a New York strip and a halibut. I had an unsweetened iced tea; she had two glasses of Chardonnay. This was a straightforward dinner at what Charleston’s prices itself as a polished, professional restaurant.
After we sent the steak back, the manager came over and apologized, explaining that the issue was a sheet of cooking paper left on top of the steak, soaked through with whatever blue residue had contaminated the plate. That explanation is not reassuring—it raises serious questions about food handling, quality control, and basic kitchen oversight.
Despite acknowledging the mistake, the failure, and the inedible condition of the entrée, we were still presented with a bill totaling over $130. No meaningful comp. No ownership. No attempt to make the situation right beyond a hollow apology.
This is not a “mistake happens” scenario. This is a systemic breakdown:
Food leaving the kitchen in a visibly contaminated state
Staff immediately recognizing it as wrong
Management admitting fault
And then still charging full price
That combination shows a complete lack of respect for guests and a disturbing indifference to standards Charleston’s claims to uphold.
Corporate leadership should be deeply concerned that this is what’s happening under their name. If this is acceptable at the store level, then the brand has far bigger problems than a ruined steak.
My wife and I will never return, and I fully expect corporate Charleston’s to address this publicly. Until then, I cannot recommend this location—or trust that its kitchen is being properly managed.

I love the food. And usually the service is top notch but these ppl are lost in their own worlds. Not paying attention to the customers and delving into their own cares…just really strange experience.

We had a nice time at Charleston’s. Food was good, service was excellent, and you could hear conversation from across the table.
I got the half roast chicken with the glazed carrots and have salad. All three items for good and will definitely be back again.

Charleston’s has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years. Always was consistent and had top notch customer service. Unfortunately my visit yesterday was quite different, the last shrimp in our Shrimp Cargot appetizer had something very hard in it, I spit it into a paper towel and found 3 pieces of very sharp hard material that could have been pieces of a broken ceramic bowl/plate. It scraped the inside of my mouth so I decided to tell the server about it. He notified a manager and the manager came to the table, apologized, and asked if I’d like them to take my information. I said no and that I understand things happen so I wasn’t wanting to make a big deal about it. I assumed he would comp the appetizer after knowing it had shards of possibly ceramic in the food and that it scraped my mouth. I worked at this Charleston’s location when they first opened, I remember the standards being very high and charging someone for the dish in this situation would have never been acceptable in the past. The 2 entrees we had were great and we didn’t expect them to be discounted at all but charging someone for a dish that had sharp inedible material in it is unacceptable. We didn’t complain, tipped our server well and left, saddened that this is what played out at one of our favorite restaurants. Hopefully they will get back to their original standards and principles that we used to know and love.

$19 paid for chicken, baked potato, and macaroni&cheese. If I only I knew, I would’ve saved my gas. My macaroni, was noodles without cheese, nor seasoning, just trash, the baked potato was perfect and the chicken was tender.

Some of the best service and food I’ve had in a very long time. This is coming from someone who tries a new restaurant at least once or twice per week. The entire experience was amazing, the vibe was happy, and I can’t say enough how fantastic our experience was. Well done! I highly recommend this place, specifically this location!
