Good place to go. Very friendly people. Good food. Unfortunately it’s pretty much the same chicken fried steak that I’ve had every place here in Spokane. Definitely not homemade. Good quality food though. Love the giant glasses of tea!

What an amazing experience! The staff was so incredibly kind. I had the most amazing cold brew coffee! I was from out of town, but I will be bringing my family back! Such a cute place. I was really impressed and the food was delish. They even gave my friend’s toddler two little Santa stuffies and it made her day!

The hubby and I had a good experience at this Cafe. I will say that the hashbrowns were a bit disappointing.. I like them grated thinner and crispy. HOWEVER, the cinnamon roll was to die for! The service was great..the energy was great. I’d go back for that cinnamon roll!

My husband and I have driven by many times and been like we really need to try it sometime. Well the opportunity came. I am extremely happy to say we were not disappointed. Highly recommend getting a cinnamon roll. We got one and shared it as a breakfast appetizer. Why isnt that a thing. Then i had the breakfasts chimichanga and my husband had the toms marathon man. I ate my leftovers for lunch later. We definitely plan to go back and explore more of the menu. I especially want to try grandpa bobs chicken and waffles ( my grandpa name was bob and he actually made some pretty good waffles and pancakes) so i definitely recommend. Go give Jennys a try next time your in the area looking for a breakfast spot

I don’t know about some of the other reviews, but Jenny’s Cafe is a gem. I travel a bit and I’ve eaten at countless family owned restaurants. This place tops my list. You must try what I call the “Mt. Spokane” cinnamon roll. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!

They recently redid the interior of the restaurant, and it’s such a classy look now, while keeping the cozy family restaurant feel! It’s always hard to get in on weekends, but they clear tables efficiently, and it’s worth the short wait for the extensive menu options available.
This last visit i chose crepes, and they give you a whole list of different fillings to choose from, including various fruits and bavarian cream (which was amazing).

Visited today and ordered the Country Fried Steak and there was absolutely no flavor. The gravy tasted like flour and the steak tasted like it was smothered in unflavored panko and fried. Huge disappointment. Ordered over medium eggs and they were almost over easy, not cooked how they were supposed to be. The sourdough toast was very small and the waitress didn’t even ask if we wanted additional hashbrowns until we were just about done. The busier this place is, the quality definitely drops. I would choose Frankie Doodles over Jenny’s any day.

How anyone could give this place lower than 5 stars is beyond me! The food was wonderful and quick to get to our table. Granted, I was a sucker for the all you can eat hash browns. The country fried steak breakfast had flavor, quantity, and appearance. The establishment was clean and cozy. I am a faith based person and it was incredibly welcoming without being overbearing for those who may share different beliefs. The restaurant is busy, there is no doubt about that. The turnover rate is fast and the wait times are quite reasonable.
I want to give a shout-out to Stephanie and Dawn our servers for being quick to greet my family and I. Stephanie greeted us and got us our drinks quickly, and with such a positive attitude and glowing smile. Dawn took our orders as soon as she saw us ready. There was a soccer team she was catering to outside, and I was incredibly impressed with her attentiveness to the smaller tables that she had as well. Friendly, happy, and waiting on all of her sections with ease. I just want to send the biggest thanks to both of them for making our experience such a positive one.
