You almost feel like you’re breaking the law when you come here. Walk down the dark alley and look for the steel door behind the Elks Club. There are no seats, and there’s usually a long wait. Pickup is literally walking right into the kitchen.
And it’s absolutely worth it.
This is one of the best pizzas you’ll ever eat. Not just the best in Cape Coral or Florida, but the best anywhere.
Choose from authentic New Haven, New York, or Chicago styles. I went with my favorite, New Haven style, and it was outstanding. Perfect crust, incredible flavor, and clearly made by someone who truly understands pizza.

The crust has the crunch. Sauce to dough ratio was perfect! Top notch toppings. Staff was friendly. Pizzas were ready at the time I was told. Worth the wait. I was told it was good pizza, I will say it is the BEST in the Cape.

We had this pizza and wings last night. We got the garlic pizza and the Goomba signature pizza along with hot wings bone in everything was delicious. They have their own twist on old favorites and it’s kind of like going to a speakeasy when you go to pick up your food if you know, you know.

We got a vegetal pizza delivered so we can not rate the service and atmosphere. The delivery service was excellent. We’re not vegetarians but we seen this vegetal pizza on the menu and decided try it. It has spinach, onion, green peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes mozzarella and the goombah sauce, also ricotta cheese dabs on top. It was delicious and were ready to order another one!

My family absolutely loves this place. The pizza is fabulous. We enjoy the variety of styles of pizza! I am a NY style (mushroom and onion), my husband likes the Chicago style (supremo) and my mom likes Chicago style (sausage and bell pepper). All the pizzas were cooked to perfection, crispy crust and flavorful toppings. The staff is always friendly when I call. Love Goombah’s!

As New Havener I can say this is probably one of the best pizzas in SWFL. New Haven style extra well done is amazing. Sauce is great and the picking up in the pie in the back alley makes the whole experience even better. Would recommend to anyone who wants a real pie.

Pizza was Excellent! The negative reviews must be someone disgruntled, because my experience was nothing similar. I ordered the New Haven style with sausage, pepperoni onions, mushrooms & green peppers, it was outstanding! Also ordered a NY style cheese pizza with extra cheese, it was also very good. Great sauce! Service was great, and the employees were very helpful and friendly. I had questions as I had never had New Haven style pizza.
