My husband and I went here for the first time today for lunch. It was DELICIOUS! We started off with a big pretzel with their signature beer cheese and oh my…. So good! I literally drank the beer cheese! I got the fish and chips and my hubby got the whiskey bacon jam burger. The fish and chips were great! Crispy, not soggy, and delicious! The whiskey bacon jam burger was SOOOOOOO delicious. I would go back again JUST for that burger! I had the Goat Patch Red Ale and a Sangria, both very good! The atmosphere is super inviting and cute! They do trivia, karaoke, live music, etc…. Highly recommend!

Cool spot. I will say, it was prob one of the more busier days and that’s why the service was the way it was but definitely didn’t hit the spot today. Got a Bloody Mary, the one I requested, they weren’t making today. Advertised one of the best in the area, strongly disagree but still good. Food tasty. Waitress got drink and food order quick. Food was brought out. Tried asking our waitress for another beer two separate times and she stormed off before hearing me out. Finished my meal without a refill of water. Not sure exactly what a living wage is in the receipt but sounds like something the establishment should pay… overall, okay experience.

First off, the music was spot on. Nice classic rock. Southwest ceasar salad with grilled chicken. Very tasty. Elk chilli had just the right kick to it. Great drink choices as well.

For decades I have enjoyed having lunch at this restaurant. This was my first time back in a while after retiring to the mountains, and not much has changed. The atmosphere is exactly the same. The food is still as delicious as ever and though the faces may have changed the way you are treated hasn’t. They are very accommodating to your requests for food accessibility. Possibly the best French fries in OCC.

The Gals (waitstaff) here are superb! They are all attentive, knowledgeable, have a great memory. Some of the best customer service in town.
Anytime we’ve ordered food we’ve been impressed. Recently it was their Mushroom Swiss burger w/fries and the Brussels Sprouts (bacon on the side). I like how the burger was NOT as I was expecting in the melted sense but instead a more firm Swiss and mushrooms. I love that lettuce and tomato comes on the burger. It was all delicious!
And again, I cannot say enough about the waitstaff, they’re awesome. Go see for yourself.

Enjoyed catching up with friends for dinner here tonight. We enjoyed the fish & chips and especially the Bison NY Strip steak which was done to perfection. A good selection drafts as well.

Fantastic Elk Chili! Great Rocky Mountain Oysters, and the Turkey BLT was amazing.

I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Balsamic Brussels Sprouts, and both were fantastic! The chicken was cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I just wish there was a bit more sauce to enhance the flavors. The homemade ranch here is absolutely delicious. The Brussels sprouts were incredible—definitely a must-try, and I love that they’re available as a side option. If you’re looking for great bar food, this is the place to go! The service was fast and excellent.

Really wanted to like this place. Historic feeling building with exposed brick and hardwood. Fried pickles and giant pretzel were delicious. Unfortunately our main courses were disappointing. Soggy burger, greasy Mac n’ cheese. Service was friendly but absent. I had to search out our server twice during the experience. Do not recommend. Not a good value.

I used to love this restaurant but my last visit will likely be my last visit. They made changes to the food like adding gold fish crackers to the chili mac, burgers are bland, tables dirty and sticky, only 2 bartenders working Sunday afternoon so it took 20 minutes just to put in a drink order. Their slogan is elevated food in a casual dining, but this was more like a cheap dive bar experience. Sad to see the fall.
