La Brasa is a new concept with an extraordinary history. The Kamps building still has its place as a live music venue, however, La Brasa has brought a metropolitan ambiance to a historic building, incorporating new and old in the decor of the restaurant
Classic Peruvian dishes & craft cocktails served in historic surrounds with a bohemian vibe & patio.

Great place for dinner…. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is unlike any place I’ve ever been! I recommend making reservations. I didn’t and ended up sitting at the bar….. this worked out well…. Katie was my server and bartender. Her angels envy old fashion was one of the best! She was kind, attentive, and overall helped to make my La Brasa experience GREAT!

This is definitely a cute place for a fun night out. Definitely Instagrammable.
We came for my friend’s birthday. We were sat at a table for 2. The chairs were comfy, but the table was small if you wanted to sit ohon, purse, drinks, and food on the table. We wound up having to put our purses behind our back in the chair due to not enough room. With that being said, this is your typical size for 2 tops.
Service was a little slow, but not super bad. She did check back on us throughout, we just found it a little delayed from when we wanted to be checked back on and we did have to flag her down twice.
Food was just okay. I got the 1/2 chicken. The flavoring on the skin was great! If you take away the skin, no flavoring.
My friend got the seafood paella. She said…. she’s had better.
In the end, I would go back for the vibes and try something else on the menu.

First time to try La Brasa, and it lived up to its reviews for us. Service was superb and the atmosphere was fun. We ordered the De La Rosa and we’re well pleased. The dish came with a rib eye, sea bass, chicken and we added the shrimp extra. We also ordered two sides that came with the meal. Potatoes and asparagus, both of which were delicious and flavorful. The rib eye proved out favorite with the chicken and then sea bass next. The shrimp was ok, but the others were really good. It is to serve as a dish for two, but the portions were tremendous. Add a couple of cocktails and tip and everything came to about 140. For a fun night out or special occasion I highly recommend La Brasa. We were told of a wine Wednesday, which seemed to be an affordable night out. The menu was varied, with plenty of choices, I plan on coming back and tring some other items, you should try for yourself and see what you think.

I’ve been here twice so far – first for a bridal dinner, another for my personal anniversary. Both times were good experiences, though the 2nd time was better in terms of service. Both times I couldn’t help but get the chimichurri steak with elote, SO GOOD. My spouse loved the Brussels sprouts and the churros were good. Mango margarita is good, but nothing special.
The 1st time when I came with a group of 5, when I arrived I gave the host the name I thought the party was under, she took me to a table that was not my party and then left me there with the strangers while I walked around the restaurant trying to find my party. Another girl in our party said this also happened to her when she arrived, so I found that experience strange. There was a gratuity tip already added onto my bill at the end of the meal too for our party of 5.
The food is good, atmosphere is really chill and great vibes, but honestly service is kinda lacking for the price and mood set for the restaurant.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Recommend the lychee old fashion. Loved all the food (5 out of 5 for sure): candied brussels, lomo saltado, chimichurri steak

Just had a four-person reservation for dinner. We do this once a month at a different restaurant. The food was amazing, drinks were great and well mixed, so many picture opportunities and places, and our waiter Isai was very nice and attentive to us.

We didn’t expect a club vibe, but it was nice nonetheless. Feels like a date night or special dinner place. We liked the energy and the food was good, but my boyfriend is Peruvian and a strong critic of certain Peruvian dishes because of this. I had the vegetarian version of the lomo saltado and thought it was good. He was a tad disappointed because his food was not what he hoped it would be, but it wasn’t bad. Overall, solid meal. Fun place. The service was awesome. Austin was our server and he was the best.

I took my wife there for her birthday party of thirteen people and the service was awesome to have one person serving us and the atmosphere was amazing, but the chicken was very dry, the mashed potatoes were not good, be prepared to pay a hefty price for your meal and drinks. I paid $643.00 of course with a gratuity fee.

If I could give 10 stars I would the atmosphere is on point! The service is superb, and the food, well i just don’t have enough superlatives to describe it. Go here. It won’t disappoint! (Unless your vegetarian or vegan, there aren’t many options if you are. ) Sequoia was out server, and she was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Great overall experience! I loved the matcha martini and the candied Brussel sprouts!

This is my third time coming in and this was the best service I’ve had by far! We came in for a friends birthday and she waited on us attentively, and went out of her way to make my friends cake extra cute when it was served. I’ll definitely be requesting her in the future!
