We had an exceptional experience tonight. Jocelyn was our server and it was her first day working as a server. She did a great job. Keep it up and you will see many rewards. We ordered wings (not the best i have ever had), lil house salad, pretzel bites, large pepperoni pizza, and a small house special. We will definitely be back.

This is a great place to visit while you are in Gainesville visiting their botanical garden. We enjoyed the atmosphere and all the decorations. Everyone that helped us was friendly and engaging. The pizza was crispy and very tasty. It is located in a historical house. Parking is behind the building.

The brunch strawberry preserves on garlic toast is right on point. The only thing that would make it better would be fried eggs. Fried eggs would also be great as an option on the burgers. The breakfast shots are awesome, but would be excellent with a side of a fried egg. Back in the day when this place use to be the Rudolf House, they had a plate called Tim’s favorite five fried eggs. Soooooo good, bring it back!!!

They were supposed to be boneless mango habanero chicken wings, but what we received was cold chicken without sauce. The fries were terrible, and overall the food is not good. The only thing that’s decent is the place itself.

Mellow Mushroom in Gainesville is a fantastic spot. The pizza is always fresh and delicious, with a perfect crust. The atmosphere is cool and unique, and the staff is super friendly. It’s a great place for a casual meal with friends or family. Highly recommend it!

The interior and exterior of the building give the restaurant a nice atmosphere. Service is always friendly and wait times feel reasonable given how busy the restaurant is. The parking lot can get very full during peak hours. Food has always been great, with one exception: the new boneless “wings” that are offered taste like reheated frozen chicken nuggets. For the price. this is very disappointing and is not the typical quality I would expect.

Our food was great but I was a bit disappointed with a mocktail I got. It was mainly ice. I asked the server if I was able to get any another since I had about 3 small sips for $4. His response was that they made it at the bar and “sorry”. There was no other follow up. We waited quite a while for half the food so part of our party was waiting 10 minutes while the other half had their food. We didn’t have silverware, condiments, or refills on other drinks for a while. I don’t think any of this was our servers fault. He looked very busy and was doing his very best. It just wasn’t the best experience and very expensive for very little.

From the outside to the inside this place will impress you! The parking lot was full and yet still easy to navigate while still providing ample parking spaces for more to be welcomed. The initial greet when entering was spot on for me to feel the wait of 20 minutes was warranted (for a Friday night) yet still remaining smooth and free flowing. My server, Serena was an amazing help walking through the menu as well as making me feel comfortable while waiting on the rest of my party to show up. If you’re looking for a great place to get along, enjoy the vibe and ambience, this is definitely where you need to go for pizza. Get in sit down and mellow out!
