This restaurant is very popular. Their food is simply fantastic. A very big menu with loads to choose from. They are very busy, so would suggest you reserve a table.

My wife and I go out every Friday night for date night and this past Friday we went to Wang Thai. We have an enjoyable experience our waiter was most helpful with food choices as the menu can be rather overwhelming. The waiters assistance with meal choice was spot on we really enjoyed the Penaeng Curry although I find the portion of rice we ordered was very small and had to order a second portion for the two of us. I feel if someone orders a portion of rice with a curry it should match the amount of curry.
The view of the lagoon mouth is spectacular and well worth sitting in the outside section of the restaurant to enjoy.
We did find it difficult getting attention when we needed it, as we were sitting in the out side section and could not easily see our waiter to get his attention when we needed it. Please note that this is an observation that we feel the staff need to know about not a complaint about the service, that was great!

2025 We went to Wang Thai again last night, I wish to extend my Gratitude to Joshlyn, Mikaela, Sia, Dimples and Neville for a great evening, also to our favorite Chef Uncle we had an amazing time ❤
Wang Thai exceeded our expectations during our visit with our parents who were first-time diners of authentic Thai cuisine.
The overall experience left all of us in awe and grateful for the impeccable service.

The cuisine was a delectable masterpiece – bursting with freshness and flavors. From the exquisite starters to the delightful array of main courses, every dish was a true culinary delight. The Thai Green Seafood Curry, Thai Green Beef Curry, Thai Massaman Prawn Curry, and the Wok Fried Chilli & Cashew with Tofu were all exceptional, served alongside perfectly cooked Jasmin Rice.

Good food and lovely atmosphere. On a good day, you can sit outside admiring the view. There is a bit of a stinky smell coming from the lagoon. A wide variety of choices on the menu. The poke bowl is a very good option for something healthy and lighter.
