Cool quick stop spot, affordable and fast. Tried two different hot dogs, the Super and the Frito and they were both great along with there strawberry short cheese cake which I would consider top notch.

The hot dogs were no where near what I expected, for one the were both cold, the Texas dogs chilli had no Texas Spice in other words FLAVOR.. then the windy city dog was a joke no were near the windy city, & I have reviews of Chicago Dogs.
But I will give them credit the Root Beer float was very good. It was suppose to be a large float but only 1/2 full. uff
I don’t like to give bad reviews but if I pay for a service please put yourself in my shoes, you want the best in service.

Just left around 7 pm on Jan 17 not complaining about the line I get it you’re busy but we just got three sundaes and two of the three were wrong. Asked for strawberry shortcake got strawberry cheesecake, asked for gizmo with light walnuts and got a cup almost half filled with walnuts. ( I replied to your email and yet nothing heard back from you guys)

Just came here with my babies to enjoy some custard I’m not from New Mexico and I wanted to try some New Mexican treats!! It was so delicious and the worker who helped me I think their name was Jay, she was so sweet and really friendly they helped me pick the perfect treat!! She was SO CUTE I wanna adopt her!!! 10/10 would come again!! I got the pumpkin pie caliche it was the PERFECT fall treat.

I LOVE Caliche’s. Everything is so good here! I make a point to stop here every time I go to Las Cruces. And I’ve gotten family and friends to love this place as well! Caliche’s needs to open up locations across Northern NM too!

I am usually very pleased with Caliche’s but unfortunately after last nights events I have to say I am so disappointed. My daughter and I were looking at the menu at 9:58. We were making our choices fast because we knew they closed soon. As we were choosing and almost done I heard a male loudly and rudely yell “we’re closed”. I pulled forward as the clock just hit 10:00 and another young kid (female) comes up to the window and says “we’re closed”. I politely said “but it just turned 10:00” and she replied “we’ve been cleaning for an hour and we can’t serve you”. At that point I was annoyed and felt disrespected by the attitudes from the staff. I have to say being a google guide I’m not sure I would recommend this place after that night. Maybe try a different location because they do have good deserts and food. I also love that it’s locally owned. I don’t think the owner would be happy with her employees actions.

Don’t go here please take your hard earned money elsewhere, I’ve gone with friends and they had some bad experiences then caliches says to email their info.caliches email and we hear nothing back. I went again to give them a third fourth fifth chance I’ve lost track on times I’ve given them and just end up disappointed. TBH there are better places to get some good treats here in town.

Not sure what happened this time with my Gizmo caliche with added banana. I got like a third of what I usually get in a cup. It tasted good still, but was definitely disappointed in the amount that was in the cup.
Yummy such a vast array of choices that it is hard to pick. I love to get the Gizmo with coconut and/or banana. This time I did a make my own caliche with banana and caramel. You won’t be disappointed here. The lines can be kind of long sometimes, but it’s definitely worth the wait.
