Absolutely loved this Thai restaurant! The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We highly recommend the Khao Pad Sapparod with trout — it was outstanding! The balance of sweet and savory flavors was perfect, and the trout was cooked beautifully.

Never before have I received worse customer service from a restaurant, and if I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. Last week, I ordered food from Thai Peacock to cater lunch for 25 people. One of the orders was supposed to be vegetarian Pad See Ew with no egg. The order was delivered with egg in it. When I called the restaurant immediately upon receiving the wrong order, they denied it contained egg, saying that they “didn’t put any into it.” When I sent the restaurant multiple different photos of the dish through email, they backpedaled and said it was “pieces of tofu that must have crumbled off.” When I said that the dish wasn’t supposed to come with tofu in it either, they said that “sometimes other things may get into the dish while cooking since the food is cooked close together.” They didn’t offer to remake and redeliver the food, nor did they offer a refund. Truly unbelievable. 25 people at this catered luncheon were left without lunch. What an incredible waste of money, as I had to scramble to buy more food from a different restaurant that my clientele could actually eat. It’s been 6 days and I’m still waiting for the manager to contact me. I will never order or eat from this restaurant again, and I hope this review makes others wary of their service and the quality (or lack thereof) of their food.

My go-to spot for a quick bite! I come here with my friends and family for the beef pad see ew and refreshing lychee hibiscus juice. Love the flavor and the texture of the noodles. The service is extremely fast and the prices are affordable. And Nancy is an amazing and reliable server, she takes such good care of us every time! Loyal Thai Peacock fan forever

Stopped by for an early Sunday dinner. Great food, big portions, affordable prices. Only wish was that the server had asked for spiciness level so that my chicken pad see ew could’ve been spicier. Trout and fried rice was delicious and trout was perfectly fried. Either way, highly recommend if you are in downtown Portland

Food was fresh and decent. Tom yum was a bit too sour. Pad thai and panang house special was a bit too sweet. The flat noodle with beef was salty. Fried rice was perfectly cooked, but mayo on fried fish was not expected for thai food.

I came here once in 2023 and i will literally never forget the pad thai with crispy trout. this resturant has literally made me unable to eat thai food cause i wish it was the meal that i had here.
I live in western canada….. but next time i come back to portland this is will absolutely be one of the stops.

After getting hungry from exploring Powell’s, we decided to walk over to Peacock Thai. We were seated right away and ordered the Thai salad, Pad Phet, and Pad Khi-Mao. Everything was great, though the Pad Khi-Mao could have used a little more flavor. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it!
