Had drinks and supper on Nov 30th a young girl and gentlemen were working, took forever to get to order and waited over 40 minutes for a bill, while the young lady took shots with 3 girls at the bar. Sorry after over 30 years of wait service, you deserve the penny I left you!!!

Went there for supper it was not good. We were greeted nicely told we could sit anywhere. Waitress came over seemed frazzled no menus asked if we wanted regular menus. We asked for a high chair the one she brought wobbled so bad I refused to put my 3 yr old in. She brought a different one that was slightly better. Order food was told the special after we ordered and that some items were out which was okay would of been nice to be told before we ordered.
Our food came out with other people she dropped their off then ours. Asked for other food after 5 mins. Food was cooked fries were good. Waited to see the waitress again to get our bill. Walked over to the bar to ask was told she has the whole dining room. Which was 3 other tables with all their food one gentleman even went to the bar to get a refill of his drink.
Staff was rude waitress disappeared then when asked to bring something was told to wait. I will not be back it was a terrible experience.

Stopped in at Shady’s after work and we had awesome service! It was Saturday and the place was packed. Dakota the bartender had to make all the drinks and serve the entire house food and drink as they were short handed due to Illness. I can’t believe what a great job he did and also stopping to say hi and check on us! We had the Grinder pizza which I had never had before and it was delicious! Great place and lots of fun

Stopped in with a big group for lunch. Thought the person working was going to explode because I don’t think they are used to seeing so many for lunch. Overall, service was good and our waiter was actually fairly funny. Most of the food in our group was excellent, except for mine personally. I had the cod basket. Very little fish, mostly breading and burnt.

In town with 3 generations (ages 21 to 80) for dinner after basketball game at UJ. Went here, pretty decent food, and attached to bar so selection of drinks was good. 5 stars because it fit the bill for all 7 of us to sit and talk. Most places these days are too loud to have a conversation. It was a Saturday evening and we were the only ones in the place. Service was good, too.

Great place to hang out. Food is delicious. Homemade chips, who needs fries? Also Great bartenders who make a good drink (7 on 7 twist, anyone). Blackjack, pool table, Dart Boards. Awesome place in Jamestown.

We sat there for 23 minutes, at the bar waiting and watching the “bartender” serve 1 man, talk to 1 man and pretend she was so busy doing dishes she couldn’t wait on us. There was a total of 7 customers in the place, it wasn’t busy, the man had a full drink and pizza, the table of people had drinks and food…it was terrible and we walked out.

We had our daughter’s wedding reception at the Gladstone Inn and we were very pleased with the service we received. They had an excellent choice of meals to choose from. We chose to use buffett with ham and roast beef. Everyone raved about the great meal! You could cut your beef with a fork it was so tender! The tablecloths, linens, and chair covers were clean and in good condition. We would give a good recommendation for others to use Shady’s Restaurant.

It’s in the hotel, and it’s walking distance to majority of the other bars in jamestown. Service is good every time I visit. It’s not usually too busy, sometimes it can get packed. They have a pool table, darts, pull tabs, and black jack.
