Came in to The Rock Wood Fired Pizza on spur of the moment to celebrate our daughter’s volleyball team tournament win. We had a party of just over 40 and I have to say, the staff and venue were totally accommodating. Service was phenomenal with our server taking care of all of us with a smile on her face and hustling to make sure everyone was tended to. Food was great, with our pizzas coming out warm and crisp and the wings sauced up and seasoned well. Definitely a great atmosphere with amazing staff. Thank you so much for treating our girls so well at the last minute. See you all again soon.

INSANE. I ordered their nachos to go because when I dine in, the dish is huge and has tons of toppings and is always delicious. I thought it was a bit weird my charge was over $20, but I thought hey, it’s enough for 2 people when I dine in, so fine. When I got home with my order, it was 85% chips!!!!!!!!! The ground beef included was cold and the amount they gave me was a joke. Same with the pico. I sent a message to corporate the same night and they refuse to get back to me about this. Way to lose a loyal customer. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to spend $20 on tortilla chips. What a joke.

There are a lot of times that we’ll go to a show in Denver or Lakewood and this is our favorite place to eat after the show. They’re open late and the food is delicious! Most recently my family enjoyed the chicken wrap, burger, big house salad. But I have also had the pizza and wings and it’s all been good. Friendly people, great service, nice presentation.

I am a resident of Belmar and for some reason – probably weight loss related- had not visited the Rock before. Wow! On entering this almost Disney-themed environment, albeit much more designed for fun loving adults.
You are immediately aware that you are in a special and elaborate pizza fun house. Young and old filling the tables and off to the right, the absolutely exquisite bar bar.
My friend and I ordered a loaded pizza with a glass of beer. We were not disappointed with the service or the quality of the pizza. It was amazing!
While we were enjoying our pizza, I was watching the young man, Daniel, working his magic on the pizza dough. I asked if I could film him working and he agreed. Much to my surprise Daniel is one of those rare people who can toss a pizza in the air and not have it land on his head. I am posting photos and a video for you to assess Daniel’s skill. I had to cover my eyes the first time I saw him throw the pizza high in the air but he did not disappoint.

You know, there are pizza places and then there are PIZZA places. You would think because pizza gets star billing in the name of this place that it would be as killer as a Jimmy Hendrix solo. But…sadly, its nothing to scream about. The crust was good, but the sauce and toppings seemed to lack freshness and character. Margherita pizza should have more than just a hint of Basil. The Founders with pepperoni, sausage, and ricotta cheese topping left me feeling I should have ordered straight up pepperoni as it was the only item with flavor. That said, the Cesar salad was good. In fact it seemed to carry the flavor and character missing in The pizza. But alas, maybe people don’t come here for the pizza. They come for the thick rock-n-roll vibe. Heck even the booth benches are emblazoned with the names of iconic rock songs. It was fun to read through and try to remember “oh how does that song go again?” Or maybe they come here because there’s plenty of room to hang out with friends, enjoy a full bar, and watch sports on any number of screens throughout. So, if you are looking for a good place to hangout and enjoy drinks with some food on the side, this could be it. But, if you are hoping for a pizza that will rock your tastebuds, you’d have better luck remembering the track list on AC/DC’s third album–after 3 beers.

We were excited to see this place has wood fired pizza . We are Italian and live there part of the year. The pizza is mediocre and a pizza of sadness . But- they make the best margarita hansdown. Their burger is excellent . The fries are average. Our Server is wonderful. If you are a stoner, it’s great munchie food but if you know pizza like we know pizza, don’t eat pizza here, you will be disappointed. .

Omg the pizzas are so good, the wood fire oven bakes these to perfection. Ask to be seated in Jesse’s section, hes freaking on it. His humor and hospitality made us feel so welcomed and we had an amazing time. Can’t wait to try the rest of menu.

I wish I didn’t have to do this.. because their food and atmosphere were fantastic. Our server was amazing but I’m not sure who to trust in that place now. The next day(Christmas Eve,) I checked my account and I saw it was used at target and a parking garage fee. I haven’t gone to target in about a year or so.. and I honestly don’t like to shop there. We also used free parking, so I know it wasn’t us, safe to say I misplaced my wallet. I called the restaurant, a gentleman said he had it, along with a man’s driver’s license (belongs to my husband). Cool. We head out that way. I’m talking to my husband and I tell him, “it would be crazy if my card is in there.” We get there and I ask for the manager (tall, slim and white or blonde hair looking guy, honestly don’t remember his name or if he introduced himself to me, I was excited that he had it, as we live out of state but nervous at the same time). He gave me my wallet. I looked in it, my cash $25 was missing but my card was in there.. I told him the situation, that I misplaced it, it got stolen from the restaurant, used across the street and then brought back. He said that he had messaged his general manager to see who turned it in and that there wasn’t much he could do. To me, this is an urgent situation, wouldn’t you have called to see who turned it in?! We also asked if he had cameras and stated that they didn’t have any in the table we had sat at.. He didn’t ask for my name or my number, he knew we lived out of state because I had mentioned it to him. Well, the story got longer.. As of yesterday, January 4, 2026, it is still being used at other places, Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s, Staples.. I’m no cop or investigator but to me, it seems like an employee found it, used it, took a picture of my card, return it back to the same place I lost it at and is still using it… Yes, I filed a police report (no call or email as you have to report it online, no response back) Y’all please be careful with your personal items if they get left behind.
