Spending the day in Miami and this was the first meal of the day, and what a way to start. The food was exceptional, the service was top tier, and the vibe? Absolutely dope.
Our server Roberto was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything hit the table just right. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor, every bite was hitting.
And shout out to Chef Ben, aka “Grandma,” who was clearly doing his thing in that kitchen. Not a grandmother per se, but the man definitely put soul in that food. Grandma must’ve taught him well because every dish tasted like love and skill met in the middle.
Great music, great energy, great food. If I could give 10/10, I absolutely would. Miami, you showed out today. ✨

The atmosphere is always good in terms of music and the sheer comedy of the patrons. The service was good.
I’ve been eating at The Finger Licking franchise since 2016 every time I visit Miami and the decline in the food is noticeable in the past year or so. It went from high quality soul food to more fast food plates. It’s still good, just not overwhelming great as it’s been in past years… They could use some love in the kitchen!
I will still support, and recommend giving people give it a try if you’re in the area.

This place was by far the best soul resturant I have ever had, the service was great and the food was spectacular. I got the turkey wing platter with candied sweets, greens and a piece of corn bread!!! Everything was good I will be coming back to visit! This place gets 10,000 stars from me! Who ever was the cook on 1/26/26 at night cause we got there around 9:15pm please keep up the good work! Great job!!!

Traveled to this location from TikTok. This is near the south beach location. Parking is kind of Hectic. BRE 3XXX was our waiter. Service was great/ this location does have a bar inside of it. The inside area was clean. We were a family of 6. Music is loud. My baby slept through it. My favorite was the calamari. They have a house sauce which is shown. It was super tasty. I’m a picky eater, I didn’t like the seafood rice. Try coming earlier to get a fresh batch. Lamb Chops were great. Decent size, THE PASTA IS SOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! Lord it’s tasty!!!! 2nd favorite thing. My children enjoyed chicken tender meal. Came with about 4-5 pcs. We also ordered the Chicken Wing sampler. 3rd favorite thing.
The rice & peas were my favorite side. Collard greens were my least favorite. Everyone’s taste bud is different. The Mac & Cheese is my 4th favorite. Not too creamy or cheese. Very much homemade.

I ordered the chicken pasta and chicken nuggets and fries. Food was far more delicious than many other places on that strip. Like scratch kitchen good! Service was not great, unorganized and forgetful. Not a lot of people in the front working. Yet tables still had dishes on them. There are super dark windows but the restaurant is open. Try it! Overall bad experience. Service was not good and 18% tip automatically added to bill. The food was super salty for some reason. The chicken in my pasta was overcooked as you can see in the photo. I had to chew and chew and chew on it. The onions weren’t even sautéed like the peppers and the sauce was salty and not good. Would not recommend to anyone. The ambiance was also not good. Loud music in a not busy place with busted decor.

The food was wonderful but the service was horrible and it wasn’t a busy night. Once me and my friend got there we weren’t greeted and had to wait at least 5 minutes at the host stand to be seated. Once someone noticed he told us to sit anywhere. We then sat for an additional 6 minutes before we seen the bartender and asked her for a couple of menus. The server finally came took our orders and kept forgetting stuff and when she was reminded she would be walking pass fast heading to another table and just sit whatever it was on the table as she speed walked by. Things would slide across the table and she had no clue cause it wasn’t handed properly. We brushed all of that off until the check came. What hot a nerve for me was that she came with her handheld and told me my total. It was a bit much so I asked for an itemized copy or to see it on her handheld she responded “I’ll see it after payment processed”. I paid anyway and left a tip, but then my friend asked was gratuity added the waitress said yes. I immediately got upset cause that’s why I wanted an itemized receipt so I wouldn’t double tip because her service honestly didn’t deserve a double tip. At the end of our meal I started writing a review while at the table and I think she seen a glimpse and her whole attitude and demeanor changed. We left unhappy but our belly satisfied.
