I travel full-time and frequent Cracker Barrel restaurants. The service I received here was exceptional. My server was Bre(Anna) B. and she was charming, friendly, helpful and efficient. She is an asset to your store. The food was tasty as always.

Good comfort food cracking fire and great service. Highly recommend. Gift shop always fun as well. Cod with 2 sides on Fridays only and batterfried turkey for a limited time both delicious. Choosing sides always makes dining easier.

This was one of the best meals I have had out in a very long time. The biscuits were hot and melt in your mouth perfect. The onion peels were hot and fried to perfection. I ordered the hamburger steak with onions and gravy, with baby carrots and hashbrown casserole, every bite I took was so wonderful. Joshua was our server and we didn’t have to wait for anything he did a fabulous job waiting on us.
Everyone was so pleasant from the host, to the wait staff, to the young lady who checked us out at the end. We will definitely come back to the Covington location when we are in the area.
Thank you for such a lovely dinner.

I’m sorry Cracker Barrel…such a dismal dinner!! What has happened to the quality of food you serve us. We ordered our food …after a LONG 45 MINUTES… we each rec’d a pathetic looking plate. I ordered the Strawberry French Toast Bake with bacon and an order of Biscuit Beignets. My husband ordered Mamma’s Pancake breakfast with sausage. Our biscuits beignets were brought out the same time as the meal. They were not good. My French Toast Bake was soo tough it was hard to cut through and even harder to chew. The bacon looked pitiful! My husband’s pancakes were soo tough he could hardly cut through them with his fork. It’s like they had been microwaved to heat them up! Instead of sausage…he was given bacon. He didn’t say anything to server abt not getting the sausage bc he didn’t want another WAIT!! Such a dismal meal after a LONG 45 minute wait. With all the other dining options around Covington… we’ll not be rushing back to Cracker Barrel anytime soon!!!

I was in a party of 14 people. The waitress was awesome, as everyone had lots of questions for her re menu. Food came out hot, delicious and brought at same time so that we were able to eat together. Not a long wait for tables nor food. And again service was excellent; atmosphere great. Very nice manager too. We will be returning!

The service was fast and on point and the food was delicious! Especially the cinnamon roll skillet. All I can say is… YUMMY! Make sure to try it the next time you go to CB! 2 were eaten when I decided to take the picture to share. Sorry, not sorry!

Uncle Herschel is missing. It’s been a while since the last time our family dined here. I’ve always enjoyed Cracker Barrel because of the warm glow, family style dining and I usually knew what I was going to order because the menu was standardized across the country, or so I perceived. I was disappointed with our experience.
The entrance lobby area smelled off. Everything was pretty dim at noon, enough that we raised our blind to get some natural light in. My menu was also missing classic items, which was sad to see.
When we were picking our menu items, we noticed lunch specials with one side were only less than a dollar away from the regular meal that got you two sides. That’s not a deal, but a test to see if you’re paying attention.
We considered it worth it just to spend the extra cents for the full meal. I ordered baked chicken with cheddar broccoli for simplicity, and it came with breadcrumbs, which I accepted until I had to split a large crumb and realized it was a crumbled ritz cracker. My bread crumbs were crumbled ritz crackers. Most everything tasted like it came from a can and most of the magic of the family vibe that made Cracker Barrel special is absent.
The bottom line is that the food is ok, staff are friendly, but overall the people in charge of Cracker Barrel seem to be turning it into more of an Iron Skillet Truckstop style restaurant.
Parking is plentiful with additional parking right next to it for people in RV’s or towing trailers.

Food so off par. We visit once a mo th. Hashbrown casserole seemed like it had been sitting around a bit. Hard top, not hot. No gravy on country steak, had to ask and it was cold. Now charging for biscuits(not recommended by server), .50. Just not the same.
