The staff is super unfriendly. Constantly given dirty looks. I ordered a drink for myself and a few others paid and tipped very well. Immediately after receiving my drinks and paying the bartender (blonde) yelled for a bouncer to come get me away from the bar. Not sure what I did wrong. But feel very stupid for tipping someone who seemed genuine but then turned out to be rude. I always hear stories for the past few months about this place and it looks like the stories check out… disappointed I can’t enjoy the bar Garth Brooks started at.

Went back to Stillwater recently and the place was basically a ghost town and felt creepy. Staff was friendly but we walked in and walked right out since they were just blaring rap music for the 3 customers and five staff that was there. If you remember the old Willie’s, don’t even go inside because it’s depressing.

This bars employees are incompetent. They will ask you to leave after one beverage and claim that the “owner” across the street does not want you there. Paying customers beware this place is a money pit that does not care about anything except profit. My husband is a disabled combat veteran and they forced him to leave without explanation or understanding they simply said that we were no longer allowed because of management. Poorly operated business with lack of professionalism all around.

I used to love going to this bar. Now, I will not be coming back. Last night my bf and I came in get some drinks and chill like we regularly do at this bar. I used the men’s restroom to wash my hands and as soon as I got out of the restroom, new-ish bouncer demanded my ID after I was already let in from the head bouncer up front, looks over my ID and tells me I am not allowed to use the men’s room and asked me to leave the bar (right after my boyfriend JUST bought us a 17 dollar pitcher by the way) I tried to argue how I was just washing my hands and I’ve never had an issue with this before, how he is discriminating and can’t do this, etc. He told me if I kept arguing, I would make this worse (implying I could be banned).

We go to sit outside for a minute to figure out what to do. 5 mins later my friend shows up, goes in to speak up on my behalf and then the head bouncer came out and told us I am allowed back in, I just have to use the women’s restroom from now on. Even though I normally DO use the women’s restroom in at bars in general for safety reasons, (again, only went in the men’s room this one time to wash my hands and I couldn’t find the women’s right away) my boyfriend and I will not be coming back after this absolutely awful experience. I used to love going to this bar to chill after karaoke nights around town, but now I feel uncomfortable even thinking about going in. I appreciate the head bouncer for trying, but unfortunately, last night was our last visit.

TL;DR: Got kicked out for washing my hands in the men’s room. If you support and ESPECIALLY if you are a part of the LGBTQ+ community, DO NOT come to this bar unless you want to be treated like absolute garbage and less than human. Be safe out there everyone.

Stopped in for a drink…pretty cool little place. Realize that it’s probably changed ownership a few times, but still thought there’d be some reference to this being the place (I believe) where Garth Brooks started his career singing for tips on Wednesday nights when he attended OSU.

My first time here I was treated really terribly. The girls behind the bar were gossiping and giving bad looks to my group. They were highly inappropriate, unprofessional, and aggressive. This was the worst bar experience in my life. I will never be back and I really hope management takes action to prevent this horrible customer service and experience. At this rate, this establishment will lose all their customers, they already lost me and my friends. Don’t come here
