Welcome to J’s on the Bay in Rosebank! We are a New American Restaurant serving Brunch, Lunch, Dinner & Neapolitan Pizza. Located in the heart of Rosebank, on the corner of Hylan Boulevard and Bay Street. Our strict attention to both quality and style has helped us evolve from being a hidden gem tucked away on the North Shore of Staten Island to representative of the up and coming-ness of this long strip of land spanning from the Verrazano Bridge all the way to Staten Island Ferry Hawks Stadium. Enrique took such amazing care of us and helped ensure we had as pleasant of a dining experience as we possibly can. The pasta was extremely delicious with the sauce being creamy and savory but not overly rich; highly recommend giving it a shot! We liked it a bit softer so if you aren’t too big of a fan for al dente, definitely make sure you let your server know ahead of time. The short rib grilled cheese was on the sweeter side and the roasted garlic was a bit too light for me to notice it. However, Enrique recommended the ju on the side to dip which definitely added a whole new layer of flavor complexity to it, which helped make the dish more enjoyable. Personally, I recommend a bit more garlic which can definitely enhance the dish to its fullest, a simple fix! We also got the street corn pizza, which was very flavorful and provided a great balance between its creaminess and savoriness! The pizza dough was thin and chewy, which provided a fun textural contrast, highly recommend as well! The lobster bisque was a pretty decent size that came with the lunch special, however the one we got didn’t have any lobster in it, but Enrique remedied the situation and apologized for the mishap, showing how diligent he was to make sure everything was as perfect as can be and we really appreciated it!
Overall, we had such a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to come back to try their many other selections! If anything is not to your liking or can be prepared better, don’t hesitate to let your server know for they will not hesitate to make it right. Please give J’s On The Bay a try and I promise you won’t regret it!

Phenomenal place. We were taken here by a friend who lives local in SI. The food was freshly made and the service was friendly and helpful. We had a couple of the suggested dishes and they were great. The dessert was some chocolate dough balls with dipping sauces which were out of this world. Can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic culinary experience! Engaging and entertaining waiter George made us feel so welcome, lovely atmosphere, well-designwd space, and the food was really outstanding! Definitely worth the trip to Staten Island, if only all the tourists who just walk around the Ferry Terminal and board the next boat back knew what they are missing!

I received a gift card from a friend, I am so glad she shared this place with me. I went for lunch with a friend and have to say, it was so delicious. We both had lunch specials which included soup, salad or fries. I do not remember all the choices of sandwiches there were so many. The next table had the burgers and they all seemed to really enjoy them, they were made from a blend that sounded delicious. My friend and I chose the Truffle chicken sandwich on focaccia with a side salad and the Asian beef sandwich which came on Italian bread. All I can say is the food was more delicious than the descriptions. The salad was perfect, and as you can see the chicken sandwich had so many flavors which all worked really well. My friend ate every bite of his sandwich he said it was amazing! I will definitely come back for dinner, and lunch again. What a fantastic place! The waiter was great and he really helped us make a decision, he knew the menu well and wasn’t rushing us. I forgot to mention when we were initially seated we were presented with mini croissants that were warm with a chocolate butter. So freakin good!

We loved this place! Me and my wife did our taxes in Brooklyn and on our way back to New Jersey we wanted to stop for dinner somewhere in between and I’m so happy we found J’s on the bay. The service was great. Our server George was so friendly and kind. He really made us feel like family. The food was so delicious. They started us with a a home made bread and truffle ricotta. We ordered mozzarella sticks, but they were handmade and came with a vodka sauce. So good. My wife got the short ribs with a cauliflower/potato mash mix and that also was delicious. I got an amazing chicken and waffle pizza. Everything was so delicious and felt like it was made just for us. We also loved the brunch menu. Can’t wait to come back.

My Top 10 must try restaurants on Staten Island. If you value excellent food with great service at a reasonable price, then look no more. I pity anyone who hasn’t tried J’s On The Bay’s classic chicken and waffles, and who can forget the croissants and chocolate butter spread that comes out fresh with each meal! Delectable- Delicious – Definitely worth it!!! I personally don’t consider anyone a true Staten Islander who hasn’t been there at least once.

Omggggg I cannot talk about this place enough. First of all the food is so wonderful and delicious and the service is great. When you see the pictures of what we ordered, you are literally going to salivate. Our breakfast platter had such an array of options that the people sitting next to us, saw it and could not refrain from ordering the same thing. Now let me skip to character nights. My granddaughter looks so forward to meeting her favorite characters on these special days… with that being said, I highly recommend you check out this fantastic gem on Staten Island…

Been frequenting this place since diner days. Chef Joe has elevated the menu and it doesn’t disappoint. Everything was good. Went for a birthday breakfast/brunch. The steak, chicken and fries that day was a tad over done.. But I’ll definitely be back, everything else was delicious! Especially the appetizer. I heard Chef Joe wasn’t there that day.

I took my daughter here to enjoy a girl’s brunch for her 14th birthday. It was a great time! We enjoyed our food and the service was great! I’m so thankful we were able to get a seat as I learned (upon arrival) that it’s best to have a reservation on Sundays as they fill up quickly. We enjoyed the food we ordered, plus the complimentary croissants w/chocolate butter. Every single bite was eaten . Great job!

Quite possibly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had on Staten Island, if not ever. Our waiter, George, checked on us numerous times, made some jokes, and made us feel welcome. The food itself was beyond delicious. The grilled octopus was the most tender piece of octopus that I’ve ever had, and is a must-get. Restaurants like this one are why I often find myself grateful to be a Staten Islander. All in all, worth every penny and have never been more certain of a 5-star rating.
