This little gem in downtown Pemberville is everything you hope a true from-scratch kitchen will be. You can taste the difference in every bite; from the freshly baked breads to the farm-fresh eggs and locally sourced meats. They even fry in beef tallow, which says so much about their commitment to quality and using real, natural ingredients. The veggies and microgreens were incredibly fresh and flavorful.
The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made the whole experience even better. The dining room is small and cozy, tucked inside a charming old brick building that adds so much character. It feels welcoming and intentional, the kind of place you want to come back to again and again.
Joe nailed the cook on everything. Burger was a perfect medium all the way through. Soup, salads, fresh bread, just wonderful. And Jason gave us incredible service. We’ll be back, a lot.
Highly recommended if you appreciate thoughtfully prepared food made with integrity. Do not miss this one. Let’s encourage real food again, not the same old Sysco slop most places are slinging.

Stopped in with a longtime friend while my car was in the shop, and I’m so glad we finally made it in. I’ve known Brent for years but this was my first time visiting, and now I see why everyone raves about this place! The food was incredible—my eggs, bacon, and hash browns were cooked perfectly. I couldn’t resist grabbing a pecan cinnamon roll to go since I was too full to eat it there. Even a few hours later, it was still amazing—you can tell it’s made fresh in-house.
My friend had the biscuits and gravy and said they were the best ever. Joe was so friendly and knowledgeable, and he shared that the biscuits and gravy are homemade right there. It really shows.

I’ve stopped in a couple of times and each time, I am so impressed with the service and quality of their food. Being a scratch kitchen and using real ingredients, you can taste and feel the difference. Kailey, who always has a smile on her face made sure everyone was well taken care of.
I was able to try their Prime Rib feature they had and it was so delicious. A perfect medium rare and the flavor of just salt and pepper really let the flavor of the beef shine. Don’t sleep on the garlic mashed potatoes either because they were creamy and just enough real garlic flavor.
Definitely worth stopping in, trust me!

Was quite busy. Had to sit at the bar but shortly after we were able to move to a table. I only gave 4 for the atmosphere because we couldn’t see into the kitchen, which I don’t like. Otherwise it was a pleasant atmosphere. We were given water as soon as we sat down which was a very nice, old fashioned gesture. My only complaint was the dishwasher must have etched the glasses and no ice was offered.
Shortly after being seated at the table, another nice amenity. We given little toasts with delicious homemade jam. Finished off with our delicious meal. Probably should have given 4.5 stars but wasn’t sure how to do that. Good luck with your future.

Stopped in for lunch and was glad I did. Service and food were both excellent. Clean and fresh looking dining area. A tad small but doable. I would definitely return.

I absolutely love this place! First of all, the decor and ambiance is sooo cute! I love the way it’s decorated. Our server/bartender Claire was amazing and exceptionally knowledgeable about the food. And the food and drinks were great! They even had my favorite vodka, Chopin for martinis with fresh blue cheese stuffed olives. I couldn’t ask for more!

We live down the street from Front Street. We have gotten breakfast here multiple times in the past few months and each time it has been a disappointment. Recently we got carry out live 5 mins down the street ordered right when it opened. Got it home and the biscuits and gravy were cold. The cinnamon roll was hard as a rock as well as cold. The food has just not been good it has been a disappointment having a breakfast place so close but it not being worth it to get it.

We had a lovely experience at this quaint little hidden gem in PEMBERVILLE! We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was incredible, and the bread that came before our food and the house made herb butter was spectacular. Cannot recommend more.
