I’ve been wanting to check this place out since it opened. I have been to the Texas location, but being 7 hours away, it took me a little while to make it here. The atmosphere is great and it has great potential. The menu is on the smaller side and more basic, but what we tried was good.
Service was slower, but friendly. We came in the middle of the week in September “not during the rally” and their were only a few other tables, so I expected it to be faster service. But I’m guessing like most places that can be different from day to day.
I’m glad we checked it out and we’ll most likely try it again if we’re in the area.

Rally prices and small portions. Burger tasted like it was over processed and frozen junk. It was tough. Atmosphere was nonexistent and generic with very few automotive related items thrown in. They had all the garage doors open letting flies in. Less than impressed. Not spending my money there again.

We went during the week and the place was a bit slow. The Staff was great, the food was what you expect not much to write home about, kind of bland. It was on the trip bucket list, worth a stop once. The merchandise is expensive for what it is.. but I still bought a hat for $40 bucks.

He stopped in gas monkey bar and Grill Sturgis for lunch and it was phenomenal. Atmosphere was great and you couldn’t ask for a better location. If I’m lucky enough to make it back to Sturgis, I would definitely stop and eat lunch there again my only regret as it wasn’t during rally.

Very cool place! Service was great and even though they were swamped she had a smile for us! The Hawaiian pizza was excellent!
I bought a T-shirt for a souvenir and wore it the next day and discovered it’s a quality shirt, not like the other garbage T-shirts you’d expect to get in Sturgis during the rally!

Restaurant was busy when we showed but we had quick service. Food came out quickly. Burger was decent, pizza was good. Maybe a bit greasy on both. $60 for a family of 4, which i thought was appropriate.
Seemed like it would be a great place to hang during sturgis rally. Great location, set up. Not sure we’d return again, unless during rally.

Had the opportunity to visit the Gas monkey during Sturgis 2024 . Had a few beers and snacks on the patio . Service was good food was ok. They are new and just opened so I’m sure it will get better. Definitely a good spot to people watch right across from the Harley dealership. Lots going on for sure. Can’t wait to go back

Nice open airy place and watch people drive by. Food is mediocre. The tater-tots tasted like were fried in old oil. My friend had the beef nachos and thought they were mediocre. No beers on tap. A customer did say they make a great pizza, so give that a try

Food didn’t look all that good but it was pretty good. You are just paying for the name and topical bar food the staff was pleasant and it was better when they closed the garage door so the wind didn’t freeze you to death while your head was on fire.
