Great food. Ordered Cuban, Corned Beef Reuben, French Toast.

Was a little bit suspicious of the mustard volume on the Cuban, but it was actually perfect.

Note to chef: bacon was a little too crispy.

Succotash is such a fun and memorable place for brunch in Kansas City. The menu is full of unique and interesting options that make it hard to choose just one thing. The staff was very nice and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They don’t take reservations, but even with a party of six, we were seated fairly quickly since we arrived early for brunch.

My son wanted to visit after hearing about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s great experience there, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The coffees were excellent, and I loved that they had Topo Chico in glass bottles. The pancake was enormous and came with a smile made out of eggs and bacon, which added a fun touch.

The food was imaginative, and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The salt level was a little lighter than I usually prefer, but that’s easy to adjust at the table. The Monte Crisco French Toast was a bit flaccid. The restaurant itself is eclectic and beautiful, set in a vintage, beautifully aged building that adds so much character to the experience.

Overall, it’s a charming spot with creative food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere, definitely worth the visit.

It was the fastest service I’ve ever had it any restaurant. I walked in and told the woman that it was our first time and she said no problem and she waited for us to think about what we wanted and when I asked if there was any gluten-free options she showed me the menu inside of a book even though it was on the wall on a TV behind her but she wanted to give me more information. And it showed more information and I was able to choose getting I think it’s called kitchen sink which is kind of a hash style with two medium fried eggs instead of gravy that I couldn’t have I got Hollandaise sauce and I’m telling you I have never thought to put hollandaise sauce on hash before Oh my God. It was so good and. She was so willing to work with me and I even got a sugar-free caramel vanilla latte and by the time I sat at the table it was already the food came out and it was so good and the portions are huge so definitely check it out. A naked coming back to make sure that we were doing okay and if we needed anything and I definitely would recommend tipping them well.

I’ve been on this wonderful place 2 weeks ago for my bday lunch and was the most delicous and special experience! It has the best food ever, every bite I felt in heaven, the people were so sweet helping me with my crazy homemade bday cake (brazilian recipe ❤️ ) and a very welcoming service in general! Unfortunately I don’t remember all the names. David was who said he would do his best to have me and my friends on a table when I tried to do a reservation and all the other people that worked on February 7th at lunch time were the best! Thank you all! I cannot wait to come back! You made my day even more special!

What a quirky, cozy spot for breakfast and lunch! I loved the unique atmosphere and the smell of coffee. I got the Vegan Sink and was not disappointed in flavor nor volume. Portions are large! I ordered a beet-based drink that was also amazing. Next time I’ll go for breakfast so I can enjoy the coffee and try the Elvis French Toast. You order at the back and they bring your food to the table. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only negative is the on-street parking which can be tricky to find. It worth going, and I will be back.

I had been looking forward to visiting Succotash to experience their unique take on a European-style breakfast fused with American — especially Midwestern and Southern — influences. This place immediately caught my attention with its creative and distinctive menu offerings. Their pancakes have their own twist, the French toast is unlike any I’ve had elsewhere, and even the Hollandaise sauce for their Benedicts has a unique flavor profile.

Succotash is set in a charming, vintage building that gives off a cozy, nostalgic vibe — like stepping into a beloved old diner with character. I ordered the French toast, which was absolutely outstanding, and also tried one of their omelets, which was delicious as well. There’s still so much on the menu that I’m eager to go back and try.

The process here is casual: it’s first come, first serve. You order and pay at the counter first, then find an open table. There’s no reservation system, but seating moves quickly thanks to the super efficient service. The staff are exceptionally friendly, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. Parking is plentiful, which is always a bonus in the city.

If you’re looking for a creative, laid-back breakfast or brunch spot in Kansas City, Succotash is definitely worth a visit!

Good food! Super cute vibe. Loved the caramel rosemary oat milk latte! They had the tallest sunflower I’ve ever seen right outside the door.

We had a party of six, which is hard to do here (tables are max of four). Luckily, two tables that were right next to each other opened up a few minutes after we ordered. No line when we walked in at 9:30, but by the time we finished ordering it was long. Good food and coffee options. Food was out relatively quick. The staff was nice, but a few of the customers seemed pretty self entitled.
