The best old hole in the walls are like this one! Staff is always personable and friendly, order online and ask for anything extra, they provide! Special requests like adding mushrooms to hash browns or extra butter, they always accommodate. Great southern soul food home cooked meals. I love this place! And so affordable! They even have a drive-thru! Order ahead tho

The service was satisfactory. I ordered the vegetable plate, which was of average quality. We had a client who wanted to come to this establishment because it was conveniently located near her residence.

Food is good, not great. This is a diner and it is diner food. It is fast and convenient. I like the fact it is a straight up country style breakfast, lunch and dinner place. I’ve been looking for a place like this in Irving for a while. Im tired of taco joints every where. I just wanted a place to go to enjoy breakfast. In fact the Bisquits and Gravy were excellent. Very fresh and large bisquits with plenty of sausage gravy!

The food looked great and I was excited because of the reviews but it was below mid. Basic velvets Mac and cheese, fish was very under flavored, really excited about the braised cabbages but it was flavorless even with the bacon which i couldn’t comprehend.
Mash is just instant mash and gravy, black eyed peas again had no depth of flavor or even salt for that matter. Potato salad I would not recommend for any reason. Cornbread was very very basic as well. While I waited forever for this food I tried a corn food truck in front that I did not get the name of but the elite in a cup was so . Don’t Waite time or $

Here on a mini getaway from hours away and husband found the listing since our hotel doesn’t serve breakfast after 10 and this place is AMAZING!!! Hands down best breakfast and lunch spot we’ve found while we’ve been here. 1000% recommend! Staff was friendly and attentive, and prices were just right for an inexpensive meal.

This is a regular weekly stop for me to get a chef’s salad. Just like all their food, the serving is huge and always fresh. But it is the service more than anything that keeps bringing me back. Love the staff! They never met a stranger and are always on the top of their game

We go there once a month. They have a lot of regulars. Most of the time the same lady waits on us and she does a great job. Food is just like home cooking. They have daily specials. 11.50 for main entree and 3 sides. Place is clean and comfortable. Ice tea is always fresh.

Brought my blind, disabled mother here for a celebratory breakfast after she became a US citizen after 50 years. The staff was extremely attentive, kind, and the accessibility was perfect.
The food…also amazing. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. Priced very well considering the cost of…our economy.
Coffee ☕️ is delicious

Huge portions. Good value. Mom& pop diner. My “short stack” of pancakes was enough for 2 people.
The cinnamon roll probably enough for 3 people.
We were there on a random mid Wednesday morning and this place was very busy. I can not imagine the weekends.
They have carryout and a drive thru. Every worker was working hard and never stopped moving. I did rate a 4 on service while our waitress was nice, we had to ask for check twice. She was nice but not really attentive to every tables needs.

Small mom and Pop eateries are my favorite. I asked around and was directed here. What a treat, they had the best darned food in the friendliest of settings. The best darned food food matched by the best darned service! I was long overdue for a good chicken fried steak. I enjoyed a side of fried okra and a salad with some cornbread muffins and that was good meal. The Meatloaf my friends ordered was also delicious.
